Wolfgang retreated in front of him for several steps, trying to learn his opponent’s fighting pattern. It was unlike anything he had ever studied, and he frowned as he moved back several steps. Well, the one who dared nothing won nothing. Wolfgang jumped back and to the side, then shifted his foot forward and leaned toward Wilhelm, stamping his foot with every thrust, but holding his position. He did this three times, then suddenly jumped at him.

He deposited the heavy weapon on the table with a clatter. “You’d win straight off if I tried with that–– Or I might actually knock your head off. I’m going to get my sword… just don’t hack at it if you please.”
He sped to the door and vanished. Racing down the corridor he leapt in the air with a whoop before throwing himself against his door and entering the room with a bang. He seized his training rapier and sped back. He crashed back into Wilhelm’s room with the same force with witch he had entered his own and kicked the door shut with a crash. Lifting his left hand again, he shuffled forward rapidly with several flickering thrusts and spins of his light blade. “On guard!” he cried with a laugh.

He surveyed the shield before setting it on the table. “I don’t need one of those.” He lifted his left hand in the air and tried an experimental flick of his wrist and shuffle step. The sword point wobbled and struck the floor. Wolfgang frowned. “These are very heavy weapons you have. I don’t see the sense in them any ore than you see the sense in my rapier– which is not flimsy.”

Wolfgang is far too scatterbrained. If anything he thinks it’s a costume or interesting traditional clothing. That boy doesn’t stop to breathe, let alone think things out like this.
