@ellette-giselle @theducktator @rae @keilah-h Thanks y’all! 😁
@keilah
like in Freedom’s Fire you see him as mostly heartless and cruel, but in all the other books he is more humanized–he has a brother, he has a family, he has reasons for why he did what he did. Not that they were good reasons, mind you, but it means that it upsets you that…

Forth section:
Joseph looked up at Darrien. His face was white, and his finger’s tightened on the door frame. He used his other hand to gently push Joseph back. “Please, the children had nothing to do with it, nor did the women. I was the one who hid him. Take me but leave the others.”
This felt unessasary. Julian only said t…[Read more]

Poor Linus. You’ll have so much catching up to do. Sorry.
Yeah, yesterday was rather busy. Oh well. I have time today.
(By the way, I should let you know that I’m not bothering to read the feedback others are giving you, so if anything has come up that you want more thought on, please let me know.)
Feedback for the third se…[Read more]

Feedback for the second section:
Don’t have too much to say about this one. Joseph kind of falling back to where he was before, but it is easy to see why.
He could hear Noah and Sabina praying together, and for a moment he thought Aaron was captured, for this was how it had been.
This is a nice peak back into what they were all…[Read more]

NEXT SECTION!!!!!!
Okay, that’s a lot of exclamation marks. You know five exclamation marks is a sure sign of madness, right? But you couldn’t settle for five, you went for six. (But who am I kidding, we’re all authors. Madness is sure to come with that.) Ellette, what are you doing to Joseph?
Feedback for the first of those…[Read more]

Wooph! Got a lot to catch up on! Let’s see how far I get before I have class…
It was actually not Betsy. It was Corrie and Betsy’s Niece, Peter and Reuben’s brother, and it was Peter and Reuben who were under the table because someone had seen them with the Jews and informed on them. (At least, that’s what it say’s in Corrie’…

Augh, I keep missing you!! 😅
Cool! So… how old is Joseph in the later books, if right now he’s “Young Joseph”?

How could you kill your FAVORITE off, Ellette??? 😢
Oh, it’s been picked back up. Just slightly bent now. 😁

Yeah, I know what you mean.
Lol yeah I totally read it and wondered, but then while I was reading this the only thing that I was thinking was that, “It’s probably the same Julian… right?” I did not even register that until right after, and then I was like 🤦♀️
So because Julian and Joseph showed empathy for Adrian in that sc…[Read more]

You two have some issues with trusting authors. I don’t deserve this at all. What have I ever done to warrant this?! (lol)
I am an author and I don’t trust myself, so there! Lol.
trust me (or don’t haha), we all have done plenty to warrant being very sus of each other. It’s nothing to be ashamed of, or well it kinda is, but is…[Read more]

It looks good. I’m still sad though.
Question- how come all the other believers haven’t been discovered, but as soon as Adrian became a believer basically, he was found out and killed?

Not really crying—but not because I’m not sad. I just don’t really cry that much, even for some of the saddest books I’ve read. I kind of want to though.
You were so bubbly in the previous post, and now you are so sad. Part of me feels really bad, and the other part of me is wickedly gleeful.
I was half convinced you were going t…[Read more]

I don’t even know what to say… If you couldn’t tell I posted that before I read the new section.
I don’t even know if I want to see an Adrian aesthetic board anymore 😭😭😭

LOL.
Oh 😂 Sorry about that. I wasn’t thinking about the POV shift at all. I guess with Adrian in so many of Joseph’s scenes, I forgot that it’s just Joseph’s POV. @Linus is probably right, you should keep it consistent.
I think you meant to tag @keilah-h up there, because those were her words.
You two have some issues with tr…

did you ever do a board for Barron? If so, have you posted it? If not, I’d love to see one!!!
I was working on a hand drawn board for him but I never finished it and I also lost the page *sad face*. Plus, at the time, it revealed some things about Baron that I didn’t want to reveal yet.
I’ll probably redraw it and post it

even if we’re glad the character didn’t die, it often feels a little artificial.
While I agree with you that maybe killing off Adrian is the best course of action, especially considering this is supposed to be a realistic missionary story, I’ve also seen a story where it’s the opposite: They killed off a character because it…[Read more]

That is insane, girl. I have not even finished one. I think the furthest I’ve gotten is maybe nearly 30k.
Ah, that makes sense. But still. Congratulations on that 🎉
I was reading the forum where you posted the first book while I ate, so kind of stalking y’all 😅
