Wait what? You mean you don’t use spell check for the other book and still manage to have something readable?!
I didn’t know other writers couldn’t spell until I joined KP. XD I’ve rarely needed spell check. But my handwriting is horrible, and people can’t read it, so the skills balance out.

*laughing very hard* *stops* Wait what? You mean you don’t use spell check for the other book and still manage to have something readable?!
If I did that…… *shudders*
Lucky boy. I can’t believe your brain lets you do that.
Um… yes. I’m following the rule of first drafts to ignore grammar and turn off spell check. I guess I…[Read more]

Hey! Scythe! My dad and brothers LOVE that game. Funny thing is, I can’t stand it, but I’m the one that got them into it by buying it for them. 😂 Weirdly enough, I was picturing this kingdom like the scythe art, so that’s super funny.
It is a neat world, and the artwork is very good (though I wouldn’t recommend looking the artis…[Read more]

I’m fine, and they’re fine. Was pretty shaken up, but also weirdly cool.
Okay. Glad to hear that!
Gave me some insight into writing adrenaline charged characters.
Of course you would come out of an accident and say this!

I put the chapter on the drive yesterday, but ran out of time to let people know about it.

I think the first chapter works pretty well! There was a bit of space in between Jonathan’s time in school and him talking to his brother that sort of felt like filler, but I’m not really sure what else you could put there so it might be fine for a first chapter to introduce the characters and the world.
One note: I was very…[Read more]

Signing in for the long haul. I can look for rogue grammar and suspicious word choices.
Code key: nuanced syntax.

@ellette-giselle
Sounds good to me! Once I catch up with Linus’ work, I can help here, although I may stop at some point to make time for summer activities.
What kind of editing do you want? Super detailed? (Since you said this is several drafts in.) Just a quick read through? -

@ellette-giselle awww that’s a shame! I echo Linus here, no one was hurt right?

Agreed. We could let it move at whatever pace it can without needing to flip back 392764683 pages.
Yes! I haven’t had time to open it up yet (word is on the computer) but I’m hoping to in the next hour (we got an extended lunch break today!!!!).

Crashed? Like a vehicle accident?

Understandable. With the weddings and grad’s you’ve had, I know it can be hard to find the time.

Yes!!
Maybe we should throw them together in an RP…but I don’t really have time right now for a real one. *Gazes forlornly at the Fantasy School*
Maybe in an email thread. That way we don’t have to work with a school system or wander a Castle.
Hmm. If we both have time (which is a very big if). Otherwise they can just hear…[Read more]
