Ahem. Sorry. I meant to say, I don’t know if the glitch is on my side or yours. Probably mine.
and yeah, I could access the chapters, it just took a sec to reload so maybe that’s what I needed to do yesterday.
Now… 314???????!
And Jonathan!!!!
nothing to note in these really. I enjoyed them.

Yeah, I literally felt a tear at the goodbye scene. And I don’t usually cry reading things (at least, not fiction).
Can’t wait for the next chapters…!!
It would. I don’t know. I’d have to ponder for a while. no promises. I’ve already got me hands full atm… but the temptation is great.

I was going to, but it wouldn’t let me sign in with my alt account and I didn’t want my main on there for all to see.
I don’t think I’ve heard of Equilibrium—is that a movie or a book?
Which plot twist? The one about Jonas’s dad?

It’s so sad… I love 314 so much.
Also. random thought. this would make such a great manga/comic.
(Agh.. no, I’m not about to cry. totally not. not at all.) -

It was right around when Sara burst out at Jonathan.
I don’t know… I like Don. 😅 And Jonathan.
also, have you read the Giver? This book reminds me a lot of that so far.

It worked!
I liked these chapters. You did a great job of increasing the tension. I did notice that you briefly switched into Sara’s POV during the first chapter, then went back to Jonathan. I would fix that.
Great job!

Wait what? You mean you don’t use spell check for the other book and still manage to have something readable?!
I didn’t know other writers couldn’t spell until I joined KP. XD I’ve rarely needed spell check. But my handwriting is horrible, and people can’t read it, so the skills balance out.

*laughing very hard* *stops* Wait what? You mean you don’t use spell check for the other book and still manage to have something readable?!
If I did that…… *shudders*
Lucky boy. I can’t believe your brain lets you do that.
Um… yes. I’m following the rule of first drafts to ignore grammar and turn off spell check. I guess I…[Read more]

Hey! Scythe! My dad and brothers LOVE that game. Funny thing is, I can’t stand it, but I’m the one that got them into it by buying it for them. 😂 Weirdly enough, I was picturing this kingdom like the scythe art, so that’s super funny.
It is a neat world, and the artwork is very good (though I wouldn’t recommend looking the artis…[Read more]

I’m fine, and they’re fine. Was pretty shaken up, but also weirdly cool.
Okay. Glad to hear that!
Gave me some insight into writing adrenaline charged characters.
Of course you would come out of an accident and say this!

I think the first chapter works pretty well! There was a bit of space in between Jonathan’s time in school and him talking to his brother that sort of felt like filler, but I’m not really sure what else you could put there so it might be fine for a first chapter to introduce the characters and the world.
One note: I was very…[Read more]

Signing in for the long haul. I can look for rogue grammar and suspicious word choices.
Code key: nuanced syntax.
