I’m aware that it is real, and I would never go to a seance or something, but this particular magic is made up, and it isn’t like occult magic. I do think that fantasy magic in general is harmless, (though most of the fantasy I read is Christian and/or middle grade so it doesn’t get that dark), though maybe not this one since it…[Read more]

WOW!!! I think that’s the best thing you have ever drawn that you’ve posted on here! WOW!!!
Thank you! It really helped that I didn’t have to come up with the pose myself.
Here is the screenshot I used as a reference:

AAH it’s Zuko!! I love Zuko so much. Well done; you translated the anime-like style of the show…

The difference with the graphic murder/adultery thing is that those are real, while Linus’ magic system is made up. Thinking about murder and adultery is different than thinking about pretend magic.

@linus-smallprint I’m between @theducktator and @ellette-giselle on this, but I can’t explain now. Gotta finish my school work first, then I’ll get back to ya.

Still working my way through your last sections. I am at the part where they just finished finding a verse for each letter in the alphabet. (That was kind of a fun game. You had me go and check the ESV for verses that start with ‘X’)
When Amelia started feeling unwell, I kind of suspected she might be pregnant.
It’s always the…[Read more]

@ellette-giselle @keilah-h @theducktator @whalekeeper @stephie
I’ll leave Shadow and Loopy out of this since I haven’t heard from them on here for quite a while.
I am now ready to talk about my magic system. Why is it the way it is? Well to understand that, we need to start talking about book two. I am going to have to spoil it a bit, but you…[Read more]

Also, why does that racoon picture have an expression that so fits what I know of you? lolololol.
Dunno. He way too chubby to be me though.
My signature quote is a modified quote from Andrew Peterson. The full version is the following:

@ellette-giselle haha really? I’m glad you and I had the same idea! I’d love to see the drawings when you’re finished with them!
I don’t remember Peter too well. But that could just be because it was a long time ago that he was last mentioned. It doesn’t matter, he fit right in even if I thought he was new.
I was on the fence about them dyin…[Read more]

@ellette-giselle wow! What an ending! I loved the descriptions of the different soldiers’ uniforms and stuff for some reason, and I’m so glad you didn’t kill them off. (I agree with @hybridlore that them dying would’ve worsened the book; it would’ve felt like Aaron’s story all over again. Speaking of which, I’m glad you brought the topic of him…[Read more]

Oh no!!! That’s terrible!!! That makes me want to cry for you!
I know. I was so mad.
Hmm, I find it funny that you think the ending thing feels a little un-realistic. I wrote it after reading of five different situations in different countries where something like this happened to Believers who had been arrested. XD
I guess the B…

I’m flexible, so whenever everyone else is ready to read the next book is fine with me. And is it about Leon and Julian?
K, here’s the characters section.
CHARACTERS~Which character(s) did you find the most compelling/relatable/believable and why?

I was so, so close to finishing your questions, and then a bee came over by me, and I picked up my laptop and ran away (lol.)
But then I accidentally hit the screen somehow and I CLOSED THE LINK!!!
Augggghhhh. I cannot believe that just happened. Now I have to write them all out AGAIN. So this might take a while.

BUT WHAT HAPPENED! HOW COULD YOU LEAVE US ON A CLIFFHANGER LIKE THAT? CRUEL!!!
i can’t reveal everything! I have to save some surprises for when I post the full story!
As any of my poor charries will testify, I am very much cruel.

Here’s your Baron scene. I’m sorry that it’s so rough.
After they had eaten, Andy took him outside, showing him about the barn, instructing him on basic duties, and telling him about the animals.
As Andy was talking about the cows, a brown horse with a white blaze trotted over to the paddock fence and whinnied. Andy…

AHHH ELLETTE YOU SAVED THEM!!!
AND IT’S DONE!! CONGRATULATIONS!! (I know this is a later draft, but still xD)
Biggest thing I noticed, is that, in the end where Joseph and Amelia are talking, some of the things that they say, “I’m so glad that… etc.” seemed a little bit like info-dumping. It’s good for us to have all that in…[Read more]

Yeah, we didn’t either, cuz we’re going on a trip today so we didn’t want to be tired.
Also, I’m mildly jealous that you consider waking up at 6 to be ‘sleeping in’, lol 😅
