I forgot about this chat.
But hey, I finally get to write the next part of my story!
John was fed up with being stuck on the island, so he decided it was time to do something about it.
“Mother, can we please depart from this snowless island?”
His mother was tying some logs together. “John, how many times must I tell you,…

Aww!! 🥰
So, one question—why would Amelia inherit part of her uncle’s inn? Wouldn’t that usually go to her brothers?
Also, I like that we’re getting more conversations between Joseph and Amelia. However, I feel like they’re all based on future situations—mostly just “what if this happens?” Except for this one:

Joseph grinned. “I grew up with Asher and Eric. I’m pretty hard to annoy.”
Hmm. I wounder how true this will turn out to be.
“Let me put it plainly,” the Innkeeper said, tersely. “A young man on the wrong end of the Empire comes into town. He’s got no money, no family, no connections. He meets a pretty— and rather naïve— girl who…

That makes you uncomfortable? Just saying a guy wants to give the girl he loves a hug?
It wasn’t that. I don’t have any problem with unmarried people hugging or holding hands, unless it does become a temptation to sin. It was because of the implied temptation that I felt uncomfortable.
However, I want the reader to see that…

As for the chapter itself. There was the part where Alan casts all those spells on himself and the stag. However, we were told that all memory of spells was erased from his mind. Plus, spells for killing bugs wouldn’t involve night vision, speed, strength, taming, etc. So, he would have had to look them up in the book, which was f…

She was being chased through the meadow by a teen girl. Sorry if that wasn’t clear.

The spells. Why do we need to know the images?
I sincerely hope none of this offended you. If it came across as harsh or mean, that is not my intent. This is (as you can probably guess) something I feel strongly about.
I for one thought the spell images were well done…
And I think the images paint a good picture of w… -

Baron scene!
Baron watched a little girl run across a meadow, flowers woven into her long silver hair. She was laughing in childish joy as a teen girl chased after her through the meadow grass. As he watched, a breeze welled around him, playing in his hair. He was like her Guardian Angel, her hero, who watched from afar…

Or Nahim.

@koshka @ellette-giselle Okay, here’s one singular reinforcement.
Barnes
Barnes slipped past a colorful window, the rose and gold glass casting a soft glow along the side of her head.
The four students had exited the church, and were traveling at a slower pace. The leading teenager had kept the pace up brilliantly, and it was challenging at t…[Read more]

Oh why! Must it be a hand or foot? And why talons! Can’t you just restrict the movement! This is horrible. If he and Martha do get married, how is he supposed to hug her without slicing her back?!?!?

Ok y’all. I redid the math and I owe you collectively 900 words. Here’s 257 words, which heals me from whatever damage done by Min and Loopy’s snowballs and puts me toward toward finishing Elllette’s. XD
Just beware y’all. To my most recent calculations, I have 46 snowballs in the arsenal.

or you could have some sort of wicked lightning scar that goes up his back and twists around one or both of his shoulders.
That’s not quite how wizard scars work. I’m still figuring things out, but whenever someone uses magic, his body is attacked. The crystal he is connected to ‘heals’ him, drawing information form both the…[Read more]

Yeah… We’ll see. XD I want you to love them before you know who dies. It’s a pity, because it’s such a great weapon. 😉
Ah well. To hear is to obey.

lol. Well, you will get some more of it, although you might also get some scenes from other WIPs. I have Audrye and the team on my mind today. It’s a pity you don’t know them enough or I’d share A***n’s death as vengeance. Or maybe his mother’s. Or maybe Yosi’s nightmares as “character development”.
I am in a dangerous mood. XD
