I would have chosen something like this instead. Now here’s a piece with heart and soul in it!

Okay, okay, I also had it on while reading, and I was…… underwhelmed…….. To put it gently.
It just feels like the difference between a wind up music box and watching the Danish National Symphony. There just wasn’t any heart and character behind it! The music didn’t feel alive to me.
Well, there’s my honest opinion.

No comment on the soundtrack…? 😏
I couldn’t think of anything un-scathing to say.

Yes, if the others are wanting to draw something this time. You can tag them and ask.
Or I can….

Are any of y’all in interested in extending the deadline, or are you just not going to be doing this character at all?

I’m still in!
Do we have a storyline or plot that I haven’t been made aware of……….?
I feel like I might be missing something?
When should I introduce my character?
Yep, tomorrow sounds great!

Finally. I’ve been really looking forward to this chapter. It was good timing too. This was the point in Alan’s life when he was ready. The line “He didn’t need to become that hero, for The Saviour had been that hero for him.” is truly quotable.
Just one small thing.
You start the sentence:
After a little more hesitation. D…

It’s a short story war (contest) to the death (literary speaking) lololol.
You write a short story about the prompt given. (This time it was Tell the story of a scar.)
You can use new settings/characters or use characters from your own WIP, as long as the flow of the story is clear to people who haven’t read your WIP.
Then y…[Read more]

Hello! Thank you for replying so soon!
Ah, thank you for the tips. Maybe I should have mentioned that we own quiet a few polypropylene and some wood and bamboo. My dad also has a collection of mettle swords ranging from cavalry and claymores to catanas and sabers. So, I’m kinda past those stages and was really looking for a mettle blade…[Read more]-
It sound like you might be looking for what is called a side-sword, a.k.a Spada da lato (Italian) or cut-and-thrust rapier. They are fairly light blades (2-4 pounds), range around 3 ft, are single handed, and are used for cutting and thrusting. Basically it’s a mix between a rapier and a arming sword.

No, unfortunately I don’t. I would try and check as many reviews as you can.
Another thought (Way to blow money 🙄😆). A side sword would pair well with a targe, buckler, or dagger.

Yeah, but I’m not gonna blow money at the moment……..
Oh, a dagger.
*Stares off into distance with stary eyes*
Okay, stop it, I don’t have THAT kind of money. I’m gonna have to save up for this sword a little, and I just can’t do anything else yet……. Though i would love a dagger. The reviews seemed good, but if you had some background…[Read more]

Hello there.
I had a question concerning weapons and was told you’re the guy to ask. It actually wasn’t for writing as much as for myself.
I have done some sword fighting in the past, but I would really like to get into really learning the lost art of fighting with a sword. I’m looking at buying a real sword as well, but am having troub…[Read more] - Load More
