The next morning, Julian and Leon left to start another journey. They wouldn’t be returning to the capital, so Joseph sent no return letter to Sabina.

(lol. I have no idea where we’re going and so I didn’t know what else to RP. We can lose him as soon as you like.)
Rory
On Zero Rory, Leo, and Silvia all hesitated a step, throwing the rhythm off just barely. For a flash of a second Rory heard two steps. Then, the sound was gone, masked once more in the rhythm of their own…[Read more]

Honestly, That’s what I was about to write, (except I didn’t think of the sack part, I just thought of dragging a heavy object.)
But yeah, that’s what I would do.

(5 more minutes, and then we stop!)
SUCH A GOOD MOVIE!
Of course there’s the whole storks delver babies theory which isn’t true, (but I don’t know any people who still believe that)
but there are so many subtle things that are so, so good!
And the humor is chef’s kiss!
Okay, glad the scene works.…[Read more]

I’m surprised there was no comment on the Julian/Joseph conversation.

that’s what (frustratingly) keeps me from being able to say this scene doesn’t work.
I don’t like you at all.
yes! Yes it does make sense, and I hate that I’m saying it, but it fits.
I doubly don’t like you.
I also agree that the interactions seem very stiff or formal, but I wasn’t sure if that’s what you’re going for.

Rory
“How’re you holding up”
Rory glanced over at Leo. “I’m okay.”
Leo nodded and continued on.
Rory glanced back at the school. He felt a crawling sensation along his spine. As if… as if someone was watching them.
Rory evened his pace so it would match Leo’s steps. He came alongside the older boy. “I think someone’s followi…[Read more] -

You’re not kicked. You just haven’t RPd so most people guessed you dropped out.
Plus, the boat crew, (which I think you’re characters are with) has done nothing for quiet some time because we’re trying to connect the other groups to them in order to have a little conference and figure out what on earth is…[Read more]

Okay, I made the suggested changes to the last couple of sections, and I’m working on some more Joseph/Amelia interactions. I thought I’d just go ahead and post the next scene while I take care of the other stuff.

Quincy was flopped on his back wriggling under a bush. Leo extracted him, taking a moment to brush him off before slinging him over his shoulder.
Best mental picture ever! XD
Rory
Rory looked up at Leo. “Go where? where can we go?” Panic was rising in his chest, but he swallowed it down. He took Leo’s hand and let the young man…[Read more]
