@dragon-snapper There’s something to that, definitely. I know writing gives me moments of great ecstasy, but nine times out of ten, writing is more about discipline. My point is, if you want a fun hobby, there are other hobbies that require much less asceticism.

@dragon-snapper I just searched “Who composed Hamilton” and Lin-Manuel Miranda showed up by himself. Maybe there wasn’t another person who helped. I dunno.

@dragon-snapper I would’ve said composing, but I don’t think he composed it all by himself. He wrote the words for the songs and, like, came up with their… tunes? (how do I put this?) But I think another guy did most of the composing. Lin did the basic composing, I guess, but then the other guy just, kind… filled it in? I guess?
