@joy-caroline I don’t know anything, but I was also thinking about this, and I think I’m gonna try to publish a 30k work before a 180k work. Hopefully someone else can provide some insight!

@e-k-seaver I got ISTJ, which is quite interesting. I remember that was the one my dad got. I’ll have to wait and see if I can relate to it.

@kathleenramm XD I was kind of overwhelmed at first too but after like two or three chapters that no longer became a problem. I should read some of her other stuff too…

@ugroza Every time I take the thing I get something different, but I usually get INFJ, INFP, or ISFJ. I like writing fantasy, crime, slice of life.

I read Summer of the Swans a couple of days ago. 1970 middle-grade children’s fiction about a girl during puberty and her autistic brother. I thought it was a sweet, quick read. I haven’t touched a book like that in literal years, so it kind of brought me back to when I was a kid.

I feel like the more complex my character is, the more I like them, but I also feel like half the time it’s only pity. There are ones which are fun to write, of course. Hmm…

Here is a collage for a short story of mine that I’ll probably ask for critique on in the near future…

@gracie-j Aight here is the playlist I just made for one of my short stories, “I Hid Beneath My Umbrella So the Adults Wouldn’t See Me Cry”, which is a mouthful so I just call it “Umbrella”. I tried to order it best I could with transitions that match the mood as well as songs that matched the different parts of the story.

@gracie-j To be completely honest, creating collages and stuff have helped me to get to know my characters a little bit better, since usually they’re just an idea until I start developing them on paper. To me, we’re like two strangers until I start writing them, haha.

@seekjustice It does have a lot of good themes! Really helped for my class, since they were easy to remember.
