@dekreel I think the two worst books I’ve ever read were The Secret Garden and Starship Troopers. The main problem with both of them was that literally NOTHING with a quadruple capital N happened. Not to mention that they’re both very off philosophically.

I also put a book down 3/4 of the way through recently, which I almost never do. It was…[Read more]

Which is to say I have no suggestions, unfortunately.

@christi-eaton Sorry. I like audiobooks, but prefer reading in paper or kindle.

@introvert_girl They’ll be posted on KP. 🙂

@valtmy Wow! This sounds cool enough to give me a headache. lol

I doubt I can answer all your questions, but maybe I can help you with a few. Here goes.

#1 I agree that different people should have different powers at the same time of day. If you do this, there should probably be a governing rule. For instance, males and females are divided as…[Read more]

@rochellaine Whichever you prefer.

@jenwriter17 Glad you liked it. 😀

Just fyi, if you want to tag more than 10 people, you’re supposed to get the permission of a moderator first (me or Rolena). I understand it’s an easy slip though.

I always need more of those. 😀

@that_writer_girl_99 To fit my personality.

@that_writer_girl_99 Sure. That’d be great.

I should probably tag at least some people @sam-kowal @dekreel @livgiordano @catwing

@kate-flournoy Have at it. 😀

@warrioroftherealm Try Rora for historical fiction. It’s a tale of a Waldensian resistance fighter and it has some good political intrigue in it.

@sam-kowal That synopsis is great. 😀  Where can I read this book? 😛

I’ve taken to just sharing my story premise.

“Oh, my book? It’s about these guys who are trying to steal this thing from the dark lord before he figures out it has the power to release him from his captivity.”

Never mind that description lacks any life whatsoever. They d…[Read more]

@dragon-snapper There are lots of good takes on this here. I agree with them. I’ll just post two other ideas.

1. Take a break, but not from your book. Take a break just to dream about your book. Imagine yourself in scenes. Dream about backstory you’ve never thought of. Just dream.

2. I think writing isn’t always so much about our books as it is…[Read more]

@epicaddie2 That is totally relatable.

I’ll be remembering to pray for you, because this is very similar to what I face, only it’s not a loneliness issue but still a faith issue.

If I could say two things to encourage you, first of all, “In everything give thanks.” Boy, this helps. I think we feel depressed because we feel weak. In thankfulness,…[Read more]

@valtmy You’re a world traveler! That’s cool. 😀 What were you studying in London?
