@dragon-snapper Ok, I’m stopping for the moment, but I’ll be back in maybe half an hour or something.
I wrote 573 which ain’t bad and I did my first ever dream.

@Dragon-Snapper write about writer’s block. Write about a colony of owls who decide to take over the town library. Write about writing. Write about what deja vu is for. Write about a sparrow hatched in a dragon’s nest. Write about a grandfather clock that makes friends with the maid and spills all its old family secrets. The sky’s your limit.

Hi! I’m the extremely late person who would like to welcome you to KP.
Formally, that is, hullo and welcome to KP! You’re KeePer now (although, it sounds like you already were…but that’s a minor detail). 😉 Okay, let me just say…J.R.R. Tolkien, C.S. Lewis, and J.K. Rowling YESSSSS (preciousss)!!!!!!!! I actually just finished…[Read more] -

Alright, everybody, I’ve got a lull in my editing, so I’m getting back into my time travel story. Time must not be wasted! That’s very easy to do though, so if you want to join me in my productivity campaign, go ahead and tag me.

@leumeister I think that’s a good thing. Series are a good thing to write these days.
My one question is how many books there would be. Two or eight? Eight might be a little much. I’ve heard that the ultimate series is a trilogy, cause most people will stay for those three books, but after that the number of committed readers will start to dwindle.

@dragon-snapper Good point! For this book I am planning on separating families 🙁 It’s a huge reality of what is happening in some places of the world today. Hmmmm… I believe that if the people that banned Christians were an organized religious group they would probably ban any of the other religions as well. Again like we see today, it’s our…[Read more]

@gideon-sowdon I hope it’s a good idea, because that’s how I’m writing my current story! 😉 I’m actually relatively pleased with how it’s coming… but I may end up switching to third person for all but the MC if I feel that the voices don’t sound different enough. I think it’ll be okay… but you really have to think completely different when…[Read more]

@leumeister Yeah. Though pages should work for that too if you have a mac user who doesn’t have word.

@leumeister Are you hoping to get beta readers? Here’s what I’d recommend. You’ll want to use a word document. The reason is that beta readers can easily leave detailed comments on there. With a pdf, from what I know, all they can do is read it and then send you their overall comments. I think you could use dropbox to share the file if you want,…[Read more]

@daeus, I’m sorry you felt that way. It does have great points. It’s very understandable though. 🙂 I have put down books others have highly recommended too, so I’ll forgive you. 😉 (also because you did enjoy the Fiddler’s Gun and we both have a love for the Count of Monte Cristo) 🙂

@christi-eaton I got almost half the way through the first one, but Marcus was honestly the only character I cared about, so I put it down. I’m sure it’s got brilliant points, but I wasn’t able to keep it up.

@aysia-serene 🙂 🙂 Haha! Yes! Let them skip the line. 🙂 I hope I can have a conversation with you about the Atonement Child when you are finished.

@aysia-serene The Atonement Child. Read it. Love it. Cry – a lot. It’s very heavy though. But it is very powerful. If you are fine with Mark of the Lion you won’t have a problem. Also, another one I really enjoyed was Bridge to Haven.

@aysia-serene YESSS!!! The Mark of the Lion is an amazing book series. I’ve been wanting to write a review on it but because there are some very heavy subjects / slightly graphic scenes, (though I believe Rivers handled them very well) I’ve held off for some of the younger viewers. I’ve had more than one conversation with some people on this forum…[Read more]

@aysia-serene I’m glad you came out of the shadows! Francine Rivers is also one of my absolute favorite authors! It sounds like we have the same tastes in books. I’m so glad you enjoy KP. One of the things that drives me to keep publishing on here is the encouragement and the community. I hope you won’t go back in the shadows because I love seeing…[Read more]
