That sounds like a great book, and that is an excellent thought. I have a grand total of two colleagues (@Daeus @Hope) but we have strengths and weaknesses that balance each other out, so we can all learn from each other and teach each other in different ways. You’re right; those partnerships are crucial.

@aratrea @daeus Theme is exciting because it is how stories impact lives. Fiction has changed me. I want to learn how to create stories that can do that for others. 🙂

@Daeus, I like it, and I don’t think length is a problem. The kind of people who want historical stuff and time travel and philosophy — in other words, a story you have to chew on — aren’t the kind who’ll mind a long title. Long titles are old-fashioned, but since historical fiction is going to deal with old stuff by its nature, it fits.…[Read more]
