They hold them to the side. My original thought was that it would be awkward- and would look strange- for them to hold it straight out. Not to get into too much detail but an enemy could just shove the handle down their throat… Yeah, so to the side. Besides, in most battles (there are few for the Felisaro anyway, as they don’t…[Read more]

Wow! Thanks for the great advice! (And the more critiquing the better. it really does help)
To answer your question, yes, Quelin is definitely going to be a big part of the story. As for the whole thing about the thumbs, the Felisaro had to be extremely inventive to get past that. They basically started out with…[Read more]

Thanks!
And wow, that’s a great idea! I’ve read both Warriors and Wings of Fire (up until… a certain point? I don’t know how long they’ll keep going…), but never thought of actually doing it myself. Thanks again for the awesome idea! I will definitely get to work on that. If I ever post it, I’ll definitely tag you! 😃

Thanks!
Yeah, I’m definitely working on transitioning scenes, especially the battle there.
I’ll just have to let you wonder about Quelin… Don’t want to spoil it lol. But I do love his character and enjoyed writing him. 🙂

Thanks!
For quite a while, though I’ve never really been serious about it. Just kind of random scribbles in notebooks, that technically are supposed to be for schoolwork lol. I basically just needed to get the idea for what Rina was going to look like. That drawing is probably one of my favorites. 🙂

Thanks for the great advice! I will definitely be working on all of that. I’ve noticed that a lot of the time I forget to describe, or maybe fully describe things.
Thanks for taking the time to read it! 🙂

Alright! For anyone who wants to read, this is chapter 2 of Healer. It introduces a couple of my favorite characters. This is definitely open to critique, as I want to see what readers think of it. Sometimes the writer can’t see flaws, or even strengths, in their…[Read more]

I’m actually probably getting ready to put up my second chapter for any possible feedback, so I’ll definitely tag you. Thanks for the compliments! I’ve always loved the “halfling” sort of idea and have to be careful not to do that to all of my characters lol. And yeah, I’ve been trying to figure out a way to describe Rina and the setting…[Read more]

(On top of that, the animals on the ark were most likely young- even the dinosaurs on the ark could have been fairly small.)

Does not the God say in the Bible, “Let the earth bring forth living creatures according to their kinds“?
(And besides that, there’s still no fossil evidence for a change in kind. There’s no ‘missing link’ in between two different species, and there’s no living example of evolution, either. Humans, clearly, have not…[Read more]

Were there not only two of each animal? And if, as I would think, animals weren’t split into so many different variations yet, wouldn’t that aid the explanation? For instance, wouldn’t there be just one or two main species of cats, and they became more diverse (not evolutionarily, there’s a difference) over time? Was the…[Read more]

I’ve never really finished an entire project. I’m kind of a pantser, and that led to multiple books with over three hundred pages and no direction 🤣. I might try to redeem some of them eventually.
I’ll definitely tag you! I already have the first chapter of my WIP, Healer, in the novel critique section, so feel free to read that if you…[Read more]

Nice to meet you, Landri!
Fantasy is definitely my favorite genre. For some reason, though, I decided to make my main WIP mostly Sci-Fi. Maybe I just felt like trying something new? 🤣
1. I write both novels and short stories, and I really enjoy both. I don’t think I could choose between them! It would have more to do with what they’re…[Read more]

The idea trumps the Statemecists, does it not? Yet why choose exclamations over questions? Do exclamations not rely on more emotion that actual fact, and statements on sometimes flimsy “truths?” Isn’t it clear that questions rarely have these problems?

Is it not clear that statements are meant to fall? Will we not undermine the statemency for their statements? Haven’t I already questioned within their walls?
Has God not worked through our free will since forever?
Is this not the true art of answer within a question? Is this the true way? Would God not approve such…[Read more]

@princesachronicle
Did you not ask a question and simply replace the question mark with a period? Are such question-statements allowed in your little Statemency?
