YES.

@loopylin

I’ve been wanting to beat that record since I first got on here. 12 just seems like such a tiny number…

Me too!!!

@euodia-vision

What should we plan?

@godlyfantasy12

I just realized, and this is so fun/interesting but I actually think Ridley would feel more comfortable with Madeleine compared to some of the other characters, because of her creepy/odd nature.

She’d remind him of some of the Cirquians, but mostly Cecily I think, and maybe even a bit of Jocelyn.

Oh, yeah, the two of them meeti…[Read more]

😂 Good one!

@kyronthearcanin @esther-c

Sorry this took so long, guys. It’s surprisingly hard to write these characters when they aren’t in their own world.

Madeline

“Are you trapped here as well?”

Trapped?

The word shot a hole in her bulletproof smile. Madeline looked shocked for a split second before recovering her usual friendly face. She shook he…[Read more]

It’s true but it hurts. 😂 I love it! That’s one of my favorite meme templates

@hannah-beth

Great choices!

My favorite Historical time periods are Edwardian and Civil War, but I like others as well. Esther is a great book! My favorite Bible book is Revelations. 😉 I am currently trying to perfect my cursive, so that’s my favorite right now. Calligraphy is nice too!

@freedomwriter76 Pirate Avengers?? That looks awesome! 🤩

@esther-c

Yes. XD

I’ve been wanting to beat that record since I first got on here. 12 just seems like such a tiny number…

@hannah-beth

Welcome Hannah! It’s a pleasure to meet you! I’m Felicity, a homesteader and follower of Jesus. Though I don’t write sole Romance, lots of characters from my stories tend to fall in love, even some that I don’t want to! 😉 I write Historical, Contemporary, and non-magical Fantasy. I enjoy languages, SPRING, and creativity.

Wow! I counted 5 or 6 of you! Yay! This is so exciting. Ok I guess I should start with the cast of characters. Today I’ll post the MC’s then tomorrow or Wednesday I’ll post the antagonists. The side characters aren’t super prominent in book 1 but I have a few surprises with them in book 3. Book 2 will probably be the least charact…

The moon poem is beautiful!

I’ve been thinking of using the pen name Ann Stanley. What do you think?

@janellebelovedpig

Cool! Yay! A fellow Penguin! One thing about that week I really loved was finding a group of young girls who were friends and writers, about the same age as I was when I started writing with my friends. It was cool to kinda come back to my youth. And also speak in as an “older sister” in the way I wished I had a mentor or som…

(I recently read a portion of a book about your church, because I felt like I didn’t really understand where you were coming from. That and the quote you shared from your church’s website helped clarify me on some things. I should make it clear that the Jesus I believe in is co-eternal and con-substantial with the Father, (John…[Read more]

I could list off my favorite mythological animals till Christ comes again, but I’ll just restrain myself to these few. XD

perytons as mentioned before

qilins from Japanese mythology

brownies (not sure if these count because they’re humanoid?)

the rainbow serpent

selkies

kelpies

cocktrice

@esther-c

Everdala! I love it. 🙂 <3

Ok I just googled perytons to make sure I wasn’t accidentally lying to you guys, and I found even more cool stuff.

• They are from Atlantis, but flew away when the city sank.
•  Some stories say they are the spirits of travelers who died far away from home. Because of this, they have human- shaped shadows.

@janellebelovedpig

I participated in CWW this year and it was a lot of fun, as well as challenging. I would say my goals are coming along slowly, but I am making progress, which is what counts. What about you?

#lordofthewings

Ooo I love this topic! I’m such a mythology nerd and I love making up my own creatures.

I have a lot of different creatures, but have you guys ever heard of perytons? They’re like Pegasi but they are deer instead of horses. I love them.

@awsumfaith I love the plasma pheonix! That’s a really cool idea.

@whalekeeper *Gasp* someone else who knows…[Read more]
