@catwing @seekjustice @jenwriter17 @valtmy Or, as Catwing suggests, favorite sentence. I have no preference. 😛

@seekjustice @catwing @valtmy @jenwriter17 So are we having a ten minute word war?
Sure, let’s do the “last sentence” game. 🙂

@jenwriter17 I think we all agree that there is no real competing with Seekjustice in terms of how fast we write.
…but we can all dream. 😀
@seekjustice 😛 But Sir Patrick Stewart was bald first, and he was/is considered one of the most handsome men of his time.
@catwing She didn’t particularly do anything…it was more her brother’s fault. …[Read more]

I have a secret… for some reason Scrivener counts more things as words than Word, I’m pretty sure.
But yes, I would love another war. Pizza calls right now, but I’m sure I can eat and type. I need a handicap anyhow.
Also, do you want to do that “share the last sentence you wrote” or something like that for some fun?

@jenwriter17 @valtmy @rochellaine @catwing
Um, hello again!
My timer has gone off, though I’m not sure about Catwing’s. I got 596 for all who wanted to know.
I was also just laughing because “Prince William gave hope to thousands of bald Englishmen by losing his hair”.

@catwing What if breakfast tagged you back? Would you invite it over for dinner?
@valtmy Hello! Good question. The more I think about it, the more I’m seeing that the direction may work out very well if I handle it correctly. It just freaked me out because it makes things WAY more complicated! But that can be a good thing, as it might add…[Read more]

@seekjustice Please forgive us for abandoning you! 😛
@jenwriter17 @catwing I’m back now.
Are we having more word wars?
Daughter of Judas just took an unexpected turn and I am quite astonished at it. I am also trying to figure out how to turn it back onto the right path because the turn it took was decidedly in the wrong direction. 😉

I believe it does, though I don’t really use those features a lot.
Ah, that’s why you were wondering about Android. What do you currently use? Google docs or something like that?
I’m fairly certain Scrivener can be synced into a word doc, but I much not sure how to do that.

Aha! Someone to word war with! You may choose however long you like 😀

Yes, I am still sick but I feel I’ve been miserable for long enough and must drag myself from my sickbed and start writing.
By the way, I started my NaNo novel a few days early and was writing it in Scrivener and I love it! I’m finding it quite easy to use for first drafting, easier than I expected.

What?? You’ve all abandoned me?

Rochellaine replied to the topic Writers' Corner #21 in the forum General Writing Discussions 7 years, 10 months ago
@jenwriter17 278 words.
I’ve got to go for a short bit. See you in a while if you’re still here.

All right, I’m back. I’ll wait this war out and join when you finish 🙂

@jenwriter17 Sorry, got distracted when I noticed a new Star Trek series had been announced… 😛 So I’ve been texting my brother about that.
How about a ten minute word war?

SeekJustice replied to the topic Writers' Corner #21 in the forum General Writing Discussions 7 years, 10 months ago
I’m going to shower and then I’m coming back to try and force a few words out of my poor sick brain, so maybe when you’ve finished this war I could join you for a second?

@jenwriter17 😛
I can word war with you now if you want.
@seekjustice Oh, cool! There’s a classic I’ve read that you haven’t read! 😛 I thought the only classics I’d read that you hadn’t were the Mark Twain books. Usually if it’s a classic, you’ve read it and I haven’t. 😉
Yup that’s it. I think I understood most of the poem, but you pro…[Read more]

Actually, Â I’ve never read Tarzan or seen the movie, so I’ve got no idea.
I read the poem and realised that I have read it before 😉 I’d just forgotten it. It was quite amusing.
Was the parody you mentioned “You are Young, Kaiser Wilhelm”? If so, I just found that in my wanderings and it was also quite amusing 😛

@jenwriter17 I think “adulting” is one of the strangest things our generation has come up with. 😛
@seekjustice I saw the Disney Jungle Book movie when I was little, which I know very well is completely different from the book. Unfortunately I’ve not read the book yet. I was about to once, but I forgot or something…maybe I got caught up in a…[Read more]
