@skredder Totally! Plus, I think it makes characters much more interesting when they don’t always do what’s right, or are even adverse to doing what’s right until the very end of the book. It makes me root for them more, and want them to change.

Interesting idea, @skredder. I’ll try it out. Kirin is a great guy, but I really don’t want him to have “Hero Syndrome” (As in he does everything right just because it’s right.). @seekjustice Have you heard of the Christian Christmas Carol musical?  They change things up a bit so the ghosts are angels (except Marley, who’s still a ghost) and Scrooge becomes a Christian at the end, but it’s pretty similar to the book.  I’m biased, though, since I grew up on it. 😛
