We have to sign up before we turn eighteen. At least, I did, and I’m pretty sure its mandatory to do it before eighteen. I believe in America you don’t have to vote, (is that right?) but in Australia you have to.
The safe children policies are basically to stop child abuse. And you have to do the training for everything you get i…[Read more]

@jenwriter17 Goodbye! 🙁
@seekjustice I don’t believe so. What exactly are they about? When we’re eighteen in America we sign up to vote, and the guys have to sign up for the draft. But you can sign up to vote when you get your driver’s license too, so I signed up when I was sixteen instead of when I turned eighteen. And since I was born in…[Read more]

Oh yes! That too 😀 It’s really annoying 😛
Child safety ones. Do you have those sort of things in America?
I don’t know if that’s true or not, but that woman is doing a bad job at it 😀
@ariel-ashira Hello!
@jenwriter17 I’ve only done it once, last year, but I’ve done the Camps four times (I think). I think the best advice is to…[Read more]

@seekjustice The biggest thing I noticed when I turned eighteen was that my parents could no longer sign me up for things. I had to sign for myself. And I had to carry my ID everywhere or I couldn’t get in places, since I could no longer be called a child and enter with my parents. 😉
What sort of forms are you filling out?
Haha, I’ve heard t…[Read more]

My sister and I are watching a movie on Alexandria and Nicholas, and Alexandria sounds strangely southern American 😀 At least, she doesn’t sound Russian. 😛

I’m extremely tired of it all. Things were much simply six weeks ago 😛

@rochellaine I need word wars too. But I’m stuck with filling out heaps and heaps of online forms because a sudden phenomena (ie, turning eighteen) has struck me and goodness knows what I might do now.

@jenwriter17 😀 😀 How’s it going?
@seekjustice Pretty good, generally, but with my writing…not so great. Why can’t NaNoWriMo come sooner?? I need word wars!! 😛
How are you doing?

@jenwriter17 Hey! I should be doing that too…but no, I’m kinda beta reading and somehow ended up looking at Marvel memes on Pinterest.
I don’t even like Marvel memes, so this is pretty depressing.

@jenwriter17 . . . That would be “Darkgrate.” Don’t worry, I used to spell it wrong, too. 😉
@xonos-darkgrate Jen says “hi.”

Uh, yeah, that one’s pretty ridiculous. But then, I like ridiculous. 😉
Haha, I suppose that’s true.
Ooh! That sounds like it’d be pretty! I’ll definitely have to look it up. Have you ever heard “Iain Ghlinn Cuaich”? That one has a lovely tune. Another Scottish song I really like is “Are Ye Sleeping Maggie?”

It is a lot of fun! The first time I showed it to one of my siblings, I can’t remember which one it was now, they thought it was “Go home with morning tea” though. I guess that shows where their mind is 99% of the time 😛 I’m listening to My Mother’s Wedding Day now and that’s rather ridiculous 😀 (Actually, the other day I was…[Read more]

@seekjustice Okay, I’ll look it up sometime and let you know if I like it. 🙂
“Go Home with Bonnie Jean” is so much fun! I love bouncy Celtic style songs. Do you know any Scottish Gaelic songs? I know a couple, but I’m sure my pronunciation is horrible! 😛

I can’t speak for the exact make of their suits or anything, but yes, for the most part it is. It’s got a few tweaks and things, to help it flow more smoothly, but its hardly taking liberties with actual history, which I really appreciated.
I didn’t know you had a record player, but it doesn’t surprise me at all. I’m listening to…[Read more]
