Hmm, that could work. I’ll try that.

Oh wait, what if he’s describing the painting and he was like, “it was from one of the kingdoms that has knights, obviously not here,” or something like that.

Or does that not work.

I don’t know if that similarity between Leon and the prince was intentional or not, but try to pay a…

So my dad just finished your report for Alec last night. Would you like me to email it, or copy and past it here?

Also, I just shut down my google account, and when I did, I realized I can no longer access you book! Is there a way I can do that without google?

Okay all. Ready, set, here we go!

NEXT SECTION!

    Leon and Julian did not go back to sleep that night. They spent the remainder of those dark hours in prayer for their friends, the other believers, and even their enemies. They…

Do whatever. I’m not sure really what to rp atm, since I don’t think Kepha has rped to my last rp.

@loopylin

I’ll jump on board any time.

Though, I don’t think Andrew will be able to since he will be gone almost all summer.

@the_lost-journal

Lololol. Thanks. 😂

I might have to take a look.

@keilah-h

Thanks. I might!

@hybridlore

I know!!!!!! I’m a terrible author!!! 😱😭

Wait a sec…… isn’t it my goal to make the reader miserable? 😈🤣

I promise to send the next section today. Right now. I’m running final edits this very moment.

@linus-smallprint

Also, this is ‘As you know’ dialogue. Leon is telling Julian something he already knows in order to inform the reader.

is that actually bad though? I haven’t done it often, and I don’t see much of another way to get that info across. Plus, I’ve used “as you know” sentences before in conversation just to help listeners mak…[Read more]

I was trying, but I think I’m out of time today. I almost had it done too. 😥

@keilah-h

dang that’s dark

yeah, well that’s reality for ya.

It seems like they suddenly have a lot more control over the Empire than they appear to.

Uh yeah. They’ve got a pretty strong hold now. Not only are they controlling the Empire’s ruler by fear of the gods, but they’ve got him personally motivated to avenge his cousin and set his kingd…[Read more]

more like a knitted hat.

if you look closely at what the prince said, it leads to the suggestion that he was killed by the priests because he got upset at them for killing his son.

what do you think of Leon’s backstory?

@hybridlore

Julian and Leon are now in the bottom of the arena.

That doesn’t mean they’ll fight.

@theshadow @theducktator

thx for praying! It ended up being warmer than predicted, plus it sprinkled for five minutes then got sunny. One single (not ours) capsized, but the guy got back in and finished the race. Last, I think, but he finished.

One of our boats got second in a race, not sure about the others. This was the first time those…[Read more]

@hybridlore

Good section. The new prince’s beliefs make more sense now.

Yeah, he’s a character you almost feel bad for.

And we got to find out Leon’s backstory!!

I thought you’d like that.

Does him getting angry when Julian was all excited about him being the White Knight in the last book make sense now?

Did any of it surprise you…[Read more]

I’m just gonna say it and the banish myself from this topic

@theducktator

My dad says that there are a lot of generations skipped in those genealogies, and that they only recorded the more important people, so that’s why he doesn’t think that they are a very accurate way to calculate the age of humanity.

The Bible doesn’t say ‘and there were man…[Read more]

NEXT SECTION!

Extra long to make up for yesterday.

 It was several hours later that the sound of steps echoed in the hall outside. Julian and Leon stood as the door opened.

Prayers for the race of the Connecticut River today, for me, my crew (CLCR), and all the other rowers participating.

Weather is upper 40’s, a little chilly, and it might rain so we do have a possibility of hypothermia on the water if people don’t dress right. Plus it’s a river, and if anyone knows the Connecticut river, a very dirty one, so…[Read more]

I probably won’t be able to rp today until late this afternoon fyi. I have a 1k race to cox and row in on the Connecticut River today, so I’ll be killing my lungs in stead of rping! 😀
