@keilah-h

Yeah there is. She sent it a little bit ago.

Do you need me to try and get it to you?

@koshka

Yay!

Rory

Rory shrugged and looked down. He tested his weight on the brace a moment, and then spoke, his eyes still on the floor. “I don’t know. Something without planes or guns. A place I don’t have to kill people.”

@hybridlore

They started out together and ended up in Landstraten at the end of book 3. I’m just picking up where I left them.

Oohh… that explains the creepy mask …

NEXT SECTION

hopefully this doesn’t feel to fast. The end of this section is where the story really starts to kick back in. We had a lot of travel in the 3rd book, and I’m trying not to literally go back over ground we already covered.

It was a bitterswee…

@whalekeeper

Maybe I’ll get around to making a topic for it, then!

Definitely! it would be fun to see what different approaches we all take on the same inspiration.

Hm… *Does not want to say too much*

Oh boy. 😃

It’s an unsure cultural thing so it’s just left that way until he does what he wants with it / no one is well equipped to cut his hair. T…

Ah, I see.

It’s a shock because they did set their hope on him taking the throne. With a Christian ruler, they would be free to worship in peace.

Joseph in book 2.

Eh, kind of. Joseph was more acting out of fear and wresting with the thought that he had to do this on his own. Leon and Julian are shocked because they…[Read more]

This may seem like an odd question, but what is your view on end times?

Woah. That is an odd question. Well, I’ve been working over it. I have several friends who love to debate end times, and I like to sit and listen, but as of yet I haven’t drawn a complete conclusion from listening to them, other pastors, and reading.

Why…[Read more]

@whalekeeper

Ahhh! Love it!!!

@theducktator

Lol. Do that then. It was about the fifth time I got lost reading that book, and the library wanted it back before I managed to find my ground again. I apretiate his detailed planning though. Lots of skill.

My family likes the Focus on the Family radio theater edition.

@whalekeeper

That would be neat!

I like the doodles. Baby Marcel is cute. Does his culture not cut a boy’s hair until he’s in knickers/four/weaned/school age? (I think I mixed several cultures in that oddly specific question..) (He reminds me of Little Lord Fontleroy, only smug.)

@theducktator

Yep and yep. Agree 100%

And…

Not the Waterloo tirade. XD I never found my interest in his books again after getting lost somewhere between the ditch with the cavalry and the dead guy who wasn’t actually dead.

@whalekeeper

Oof. I recently hit a crisis in my art that filled a Pinterest board with skeletons, proportion guides, and the old watercolor illustrations that started this whole goose chase. It’ll likely be stuffed with color theory stuff sooner than later.

I’m on a mission to learn how to draw right.

I’ll probably never reach that, but if I…[Read more]

@hybridlore

Thanks! I’m glad.

Okay, I’ll see what the others think. I liked it as a nice recap of everything that was happening.

Erich is one of the Stien children. He’s married and has a kid. They were the family that Julian, Roland, and Aelic were staying with when Rolf and Leon caught up with them.

Oooooo!!! I like your thoughts!!! Yes, I do have a weakness for armor. Go Lieutenant Roth and his guys! (though one does start to wonder what’s going to happen when those soldiers came in contact with orders to hunt down the believers……)

You’re planning a plot twist for the series as a whole.

Interesting…..

It’s a dark before dawn thing. Maybe playing with the idea that the Empire has long, dark winters.

Fabulous armor. I love it. I’m happy done of the soldiers were saved so we can root for some of those suits of armor…. But there’s probably more bad guys in armor than otherwise.

Then again, I have had a pretty good track record for the last two books. No MCs died! Yay!

@hybridlore

Ah, so you like the MCs. Both of them.

Poor you.

😂

@hybridlore

Oh! I forgot I told KP people about it. 😂

Zombie computer! I beg pardon. His name is Smaug and he’s a dragon.

😂

aha. I see.

well, you should be scared for them. Especially your favorites.
