@bluejay Pretty much if you live in the city you have internal access and most people in the country do too.
Here’s an idea though, what if this kitten hid in the trash can when it was being taken out and then when the people left, got out and made her escape?

@bluejay Is it a thinking cat? Might it have got another pet that could help it escape to form a plot with her?

Or there could be an old window in the attic that no one knew was left unlock so the cat just pushed it open. @bluejay

@bluejay Is it an older house? Maybe the cat could be a kitten and slip out of a small hole they didn’t notice.

@bluejay Maybe the family had to leave for whatever reason and while the door was being held open, the cat slipped out the door and nobody noticed? It was a pretty common occurrence when we had a cat.

@vanna I agree!! It would be amazing to be able to physically see a story grow somehow, to see it grow from this little town with a couple characters I thought would fit well to an entire world in catastrophe and all these characters with different relationships with each other going in and out of plot. Man that would be cool to see…

Okay, well @bluejay I’m quitting now. 287 words. Not my best, but I had to stop to do some research.

@bluejay Sorry I couldn’t write with you yesterday. I had a lot of things to do and had to go out in the evening.
Today though, I could really do with someone to write with. Any time really could be fine.

@bluejay Oh, that’s a good idea. Maybe I won’t have to write the ballad after all.

@bluejay. Thanks for the notice. Maybe you can sing a sad little ballad about how you can’t always write trough the diddly dather day.

@Bluejay don’t call short stories less advanced. It’s just different skills. The ability to take a simple idea and present in in a small number of words. I wish I could write stories, but I can never come up with ideas, that will fit in that length.

Oh, good @bluejay. It looks like I was pretty lazy just now, but I think if I press on a little bit I can finish this chapter.
Carry on!
