@daeus ‘You were wise to seek help from the world most deadly weapon. It’s me.’ Golden star to whoever gets that quote. 🙂 I’m looking at you @bluejay.
A procedure…we-ell.
1. World-building. First thing you’re gonna do is make a map of the world you want. Then, you make a profile on each country including major cities and places that have to…[Read more] -

@bluejay I wrote 272 words. Not as much as I would have liked, but I did make it to chapter 16. Considering I started the novel only two months ago, that’s pretty good. *looks at chairs and phone, decides to be nice and not melt them*

@daeus, I see you made it out of that computer alive. 🙂
@kate-flournoy I didn’t do so great, but then again, I was majorly distracted. Grand Total of 91 words. Oy.
@bluejay, did you want to keep writing. I’ll be writing for fifteen more minutes or so, till nine thirty EST> -

@bluejay What!?!? You mean houses aren’t for running in? That’s too bad. And I feel fine, by the way.
@kate-flournoy @draggon-snapper I knocked out maybe ten or so editing points I wanted to get done.
Kate, did you get to write the scene you were waiting for?

@bluejay I think it was two days.

No, @Bluejay, that’s not what I meant (I posted my ‘um, no’ comment before I saw your next one, btw—it WASN’T directed at you. 😉 )—I meant, like my attempt. Which failed. The link in that post was supposed to say ‘this’. What did I do??

@bluejay The struggle is so real. Like, I’ll be walking around at school mad for no reason, and then it occurs to me that I haven’t written anything in a few weeks. xD And then I’m like “TO THE LIBRARY computer so I can words for a little while, ‘kay everyone?”

I don’t have time to do the book club, but if you want my vote (even if it won’t count. 😉 ), I’d say The Hobbit or Little Women. You’re right, @Dragon-Snapper, Little Women is really long, but it is GREAT, as I remember from when I first read it. The version we have is Little Women and Good Wives—the sequel—though; so I’m not…[Read more]

Hey, everyone!
I was just thinking about writing (granted, I’m always thinking about writing, but that’s beside the point). Why do we do it? Why do we want to put a bunch of words onto a page; make remixes of the Dictionary? What motivates us?
Writer’s Block, in my opinion, is just lack of motivation, so, I was thinking that each of us writers…[Read more] -

@bluejay
1. The Witch of Blackbird Pond
2. Ella Enchanted (even though I’ve read it twice. It’s amazing!) 🙂 -

@bluejay, also, is Toby Jay your brother? If so, I can see why you called yourself Bluejay. Great name! 🙂

@bluejay, I loved it!! How long ago was this made? I’m guessing that you’re the maiden? Where did you get your costumes? My sister loves those old fashioned clothes. She’d be so jealous! 🙂 Are most of the other actors family or friends? Again, I loved it!!!

@bluejay, It’s called Adblock Plus. My dad put it on for me so I don’t know much about it, except that it blocks ads! 😛 I’m pretty sure it would work on Facebook, but I don’t actually have a Facebook account, so I can’t say for sure. Oh, and it’s free! 🙂

@bluejay I think I’m gonna stick it through ’til October, but you guys have fun! Sounds like it might be the Hobbit, which I can’t read anyway. Enjoy your new Club Manager position! 🙂

1 Through the looking glass
2 mayday at 2,500
3 Ella enchantedThat being said, I wouldn’t mind doing the hobbit or the witch of blackbird pond. I’ve just already discussed/read them. ☺

@bluejay I’m going to vote for 1. The Witch of Blackbird Pond, 2. The Hobbit, or 3. Frindle. Witch of Blackbird Pond is one of my top favorites! And if you’re interested in other books by the same author check out The Bronze Bow.
