“Barely any time! I spend my day sparring with Onyx and getting beatup, while I practise! What else is there to do?!”

Saoirse ignored the newcomer. She already reminded her far too much of Prione, and not in a good way.

“I usually don’t have that much time.” She said, “I have a lot of other stuff to see to. And some people say I should pay more attention to how to un-stab people.”

“Sorry, I left my nice boots at home.” He turned back to the first lady.

“I ask because…wait, are you like my sis and only practise two hours a day?”

“If I was anyone else I’d be rather alarmed that you want to know, but I’m me, so… possibly.” Saoirse said, “My knife-throwing skills are a bit rusty.  Being a lady doesn’t leave one much time for knife-throwing. Who do you need me to throw it at?”

Jr grabbed her wrist steadying the knife.

“Can you throw that and hit a target dead center at fifty paces?”

“Oh, is that what they look like?” Saoirse asked, “Huh. I thought they’d be bigger. And scarier. And just generally more lethal.”

She absently pulled out a knife and started tossing it into the air and catching it by the blade.

He was created in a lab, and had many injections as a young child. Because of this, he’s mentally sensitive. It’s actually one of his greatest fears.

Because of Alpha’s background, he’s fine with sewing pins and needles but medical needles for shots make him go mad. That’s why Nar has knock out pills in her bag.

Ugh, needles. I hate needles. The mere idea of pricking my finger sends shivers down my spine.

“Other people care about their broken toes.” Saoirse pointed out. “Emperor’s son? I know one of those. Not a fan. What’s that?” She gestured at the reptilian creature. “I’ve never seen something like that before.”

BTW everyone, Nahim really does not like being an emperor’s son often, and wishes he had a physical or mental disability. He also turns into a different person around medical needles. He almost goes mad around them.
