@seekjustice Probably between 4000 and 5000 words, which means with the average 800 word parts I’ve got it in now, one to three more sections. Yeah, not much to work with. 😀
P.S. What would you do if someone stopped you in the middle of the night like happened to June in the beginning?

@seekjustice I have no idea what the paper says!!! 😀 Actually I have a sort of an idea. I think it’s going to reference some place he wants her to meet him to discuss things. But I’m not sure yet. I’ll find out once the police get there and read it. Also, I’m trying to keep the story down to size, so I don’t want to keep going for anot…[Read more]

@seekjustice Okay, I’ll try to find a chance to read it. I’m currently still on the sixth chapter of A Little Bush Maid, so you can see I haven’t been reading much lately! 🙁
You’re right, the “Oh, you’re adopted” is done often and badly. 😀 Though I have heard of some real parents who don’t tell their kids until they’re older. I think tha…[Read more]

@seekjustice I’d love to be able to “knuckle down and finish in six weeks!” Especially with my western. I might be able to if I actually decided to work on that instead of my short stories. 🙂 I just keep getting distracted.
Um, I have a couple of things I could tell you in answer to that, but in order to do so I’m afraid I’d break the “o…[Read more]

@seekjustice Oh wow. Now I definitely need to read A Tale of Two Cities! (Though I haven’t fully read Les Miserables I have skimmed through most of it, but I don’t really know any of the story of the other.)
I think the fact that you added Chessy’s adoption into Stars is great, because it will link the two books together and make it look like…[Read more]

@seekjustice No, this isn’t that one. I just found this one a couple of days ago when I was going through my old notes, halfway done, and decided to try and finish it. 🙂 I am extremely random in my writing habits, if you haven’t noticed! 😀 But I think I’ll be able to finish this one now, since it’s been going pretty well.
Okay, yeah, if sh…[Read more]

@seekjustice *laughs* Ohh, the poor guy! 😀
Oh, and a warning: this is completely a first draft, so I haven’t got really any imagery or description or good wording anywhere. It’s just the idea of the story and I’ll edit it once I finish. So it might not be a great read right now. 🙂
Haha! I read the author’s notes and acknowledgements too. Ma…[Read more]

@seekjustice I actually ate a breakfast sort of snack: instant oatmeal and a mini croissant. 🙂
Hahaha! Hey, do you always know whether your characters will survive your stories? Yeah, I know. Killing someone is a little different. And at one point I did question whether to have a twist and let him turn out to be a real murderer so she wou…[Read more]

@seekjustice Yeah, maybe I could just ask her to change it’s name from “troll” to something else, which she could easily come up with since she made up Chasm Beasts. 🙂 It’s funny, I actually said something against mermaids here once, and when I told my mom about it she said she doesn’t mind mermaids. 😀 So anyway, we’ll see how it ends up l…[Read more]

@seekjustice Um, I just looked up “Troll, the creature” on Wikipedia, and it said the Norse word “Troll” means “fiend, werewolf, or demon,” so now I think I might have to talk to my mom about this thing. I wish Dekreel hadn’t called me it’s “overlord” since I believe Christians can command demons to go away, but should certainly not be…[Read more]

@seekjustice I definitely understand that, and that’s why I’ve treated my aversion to fantasy as somewhat of a joke here. 🙂 I do like fantasy, though only certain kinds. Anyway, thanks for talking about it with me! I’ll think about it, and if I don’t announce my website tomorrow I’ll do it within the next couple of days.
Now, why would you be…[Read more]

@seekjustice Ah, thank you! 😀
Yes, I guess I did. 🙂 I do like it.
Biggest problem is probably that I have a couple of conscience problems with the fact that she had me let the Troll continue to exist, since I believe trolls are evil creatures, similar to and possibly the same as demons, so I don’t want that following me to my website. 🙁 O…[Read more]

@seekjustice Oh, but that’s the problem. 😀 Don’t get me wrong, it’s hilarious. My problem is that I was just about to announce the opening of my website, (*waves arms around with glee* did you hear that? I have a website!!!) and now I’m afraid to do so on account of the fact that I will be present in everyone’s minds as a comical disbe…[Read more]

@dekreel If there’s no magic in them, and I don’t think there is from what I’ve heard, I might read them. 🙂 Just give me time.
I love my character! Except, I would never have allowed that Troll to stay. I would have disbeliefed him right away, and he wouldn’t have even gotten a chance to explain. 😀

@seekjustice I think part of the point of Romeo and Juliet was that they were too young to know what they were getting into, and too idealistic because of their young age. Do you agree?

@dekreel *screams* *doubles over in laughter* Oh my goodness! What have you done to me? 😀
Do you know I actually have no idea what Aerwiar is? *hides before you scratch me*
Ohhh, wait! I think I do remember hearing about it. Isn’t it from the (can’t remember the name…Wingfeather? something like that?)

@seekjustice Yes. Totally pointless. It shows you the importance of communication. One thing I really hate about it is that I absolutely adored the character of the priest who counseled Romeo amazingly well and married him and Juliet secretly and sweetly, but then completely failed to help in the end when he held the information about Ju…[Read more]
