My characters tend to be blurry, yeah. Some more than others. If I’ve drawn the character before, then I’ll picture an version of the drawing, just in motion. Their story is inspired by Chinese fantasy… so… ancient China… mixed with elements of, like, Japan and Korea… and my own crazy fascinations.

That sounds really cool!

I just finished reading a Brandon Sanderson book that was partially based off of Japan and ancient Korea and I really liked that style of world building.

@esther-c Characters still attend class and do normal stuff when their authors aren’t writing for them. They just fade into the background, not freeze in place, lol. Unless you want to write that they were doing something else that whole time.

That’s probably a good idea.

If they leave early, maybe one of my charities will forget something in the rush, so they have to come back to get it. That way they’d be around the school during the dance. (I don’t think any of them are planning to formally attend.)
