@ashlyvye Cool topic! I have like 4 different WIP/ideas that I plan on writing, here are their genres:
My one WIP is kind-of Realistic Science Fantasy like you described, but set in the future!
My second WIP is historical fiction and romance.
I also have a fantasy world that I’m working on.
I love to write nonfiction!

@ashlyvye I like basically anything, but I usually write in either sci-fi or fantasy (or some sub genre of speculative fiction.)
If I write fantasy, magic may exist, but it’s not usually the focal point of the story and it doesn’t usually feel too much like magic. Like, in Narnia, magic appears often, but somehow it doesn’t feel like magic; it fe…[Read more]

@ashlyvye Good topic idea!
Let’s see… I don’t know what genre I write in… I have a novella that’s science-fiction/fantasy, but other than that I have a huge mix of other things 😛

@ashlyvye AAH, sorry I didn’t reply until now!!
KeePer was the original name for us Kingdom Pen fans. Like Catwing said, It stands for KeePer of the Realm of the Pen.
But then in one of Josiah and Daniel’s videos, Daniel, being the crazy person he is, made up the term “Kapeefer” to stand for Kingdom Pen Fan.
Now it’s among my favorite words…[Read more]

It was in one of the videos. And the comments of the video.@ariel-ashira Pleased to meet you. 😺

The GIF-hiders: An Easter Story
Part Three: The Flight to the Castle
That afternoon, Jenna opened the door of her house to a whooshing noise just outside, and she gasped at the sight of a sleek, dark red dragon, peering at her silently with yellow eyes.
Jenna’s mouth couldn’t help but fall open, even after hours of mental preparation. But now…[Read more]

@joy wow the Netherlands! I can imagine not knowing the language would be pretty tough. What is the job you are doing?
That’s great! I think family and friendship are very worthwhile topics to write about. Too often they get portrayed in a negative light, especially family. What is your book called, if I may ask.
@ashlyvye wow, you’re like…[Read more]

So I’m not looking for cover design tips, I’ve already read the whole internet on that topic 🙂 But I want to hear what covers you all think are well designed – fiction, nonfiction, I really don’t care, I just want to know what you think looks good!!

@ashlyvye I kinda know what you mean. I started reading from a young age, but there’s been times when I’ve not read much or not much good. Yeah, Robinson Crusoe basically invented the ‘survival’ genre of storytelling. I liked that one 🙂
Thanks! XD Hah. You mean like the Simon Cowell who had Grace Vanderwaal on the show he does? XD My last name…[Read more]

I’ve also read a lot of older books for school, Like A Tale of Two Cities, Beowulf, Jane Eyre, etc.😀 Other than of course Sanderson, what about…[Read more]
