@aviantrail My Marvel knowledge is limited to movies too, though I wonder what the comics are like. Yes, Avengers are aaaaawesome! that’s cool that you got to have Cap’s personality!

@ingridrd How’s it going? I wrote about 300 words which ended up a little bit like what I had originally written, but now I’ve switched to editing another short story. (I get distracted easily.)

@aviantrail Well, that’s an excellent start at least. Hopefully you’ll learn to like him in the next movie.

@sam-kowal Thanks! As you probably know by now, I took a look at the doc. It actually helped a lot as an explanation of what I need to fix.
I definitely can’t use your examples – because his voice totally changes in them from my version of his voice. 🙂 But I consider that a good thing because otherwise I’d feel like you had written it in…[Read more]

@kaya-young 😀 Welcome to the bestistest place on the internet!
(@seekjustice *Unnaturally wide grin* *unnaturally narrowed eyes* *HAHAHAHAHA*)
(@kaya-young we sorta have a thing where we all want to be the first to say that to newcomers to KP, but I’ve not done it yet.)
:/ Nope, I have never heard of Jeff Wheeler, sadly. I must go look him…[Read more]

@aviantrail 😀 Welcome to the bestistest place on the internet!
I like Star Wars, too. 😀 Also, I read several Warrior books a while back. I liked them, and I always thought it was funny how there was this epic fantasy cat world basically on the side of a country road and in someone’s back woods (the Thunderpath, right?)
What is your main book…[Read more]

@rochellaine Here |https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Ko4Su754S_pyYGy-mSM_wQy2viP_i5iA3reQCtjwi7A/edit | is a kind of sliced up version where I made the paragraphs and thoughts less rambling, to show you what I meant. Also, one thing you could do is add more descriptions and senses; like how when he falls in the water, does it bite his skin with…[Read more]

@rochellaine OH NO!!! That is awful. Losing something you’ve written is horrible. Hopefully you can remember most of it!

@ingridrd Last night I lost about 500 words of a short story when my computer failed. 🙁 For some reason it didn’t even autosave. So now I’m trying to remember what I had written and re-write it.

@bella-d I think the first way people learn to make relationships is when someone else forces them out of their shell into a relationship. I know this may seem cliche, but I think the reason it works so well in fiction is because it is like that in real life. I have seen traumatized and withdrawn people who opened up after a lot of patience a…[Read more]

@bella-d I could answer this, but I’m most interested in what @kate-flournoy would say since I know she’s faced something similar and overcame it.
