The short story doesn’t take place in the book at all. Someone asked me a few weeks ago if I could include one of her characters in a short story based on my novel. So, here I am, weeks later, fulfilling that request. 🙂

@ariel-ashira I used to only write historical fiction. yeah, it’s a lot of fun to research for historical books. 🙂 What are your favorite books? I really like books by Douglas Bond (historical), Chuck Black (fantasy), C R Hedgecock (contemporary), Robert Treskillard (historical fantasy), and I’m sure there are more, but I won’t overwhelm you 😉
