My magic system is element based, and characters are either born an elemental or not. I think. The elements are earth, air, fire, water, darkness, and maybe electricity or starlight??? I’m not sure. I haven’t read Wind and Truth. I own it, but I’m planning on rereading the whole series, and Way of Kings is taking forever to arrive from my library.😭

Eh, I kinda might agree with your brother 🫣 not completely, but I think he has a point. While I think Kaladin does have some good development at some points in the series, a lot of the time I feel he’s just a bit too extreme.
