Yeah, it would.

Not normal for western comics, but that’s how Japanese mangas are—at least as far as I’ve seen. It’s got to do with the language it’s written in. Western/English comics read left to right because thats how English reads.

Um, black doesn’t count… even if I have to use it a lot, right? I have my three colors, but my picture needs a lot of black, and for more than outlines and such… does that break the rule??

It did seem a bit off character. I don’t know that she’d necessarily be considerate, but I think she’d be more annoyed than mad. Or if she is mad, it’d be for getting them in this mess to begin with.
