8,500 words is nothing to be ashamed about. Keep it up! Even if you’re a little behind one day you may pump out 5,000 words and get ahead! (that’ s what usually happens to me 🙂 )
Let’s see an update of my NaNoing journey 2016. (Wahoo!)

Alrighty. Not sure why I’ve been tagged, exactly, but here goes nothing.
I don’t act out fight scenes, (am I the only one who doesn’t?) but I have been known to sneak around in dark clothes with a weapon or two in the woods behind our house.@anne-of-lothlorien, I probably would have kept dancing too. 😉
@dragon-snapper: This so much. I…[Read more]

@anne-of-lothlorien Actually… I’m not doing NaNo this year. *hides from accusing glares* Sorry guys, it just didn’t work out. It almost never does in November, actually; I may have to do an unofficial NaNo a different month sometime. 😉
But I will be working on my college paper a lot Thanksgiving week; the topic I chose is The Antichrist, so it…[Read more]

@anne-of-lothlorien So you’re good without a life-jacket now. Perfect! 😀 And the water’s generally deeper than five feet. It was over my head a little at the deepest spot within the docks, so it’s probably more like six feet.
And your poor neighbor boy. Or maybe poor you. He may be watching you with disgustingly…[Read more]

@kate-flournoy Oh, c’mon. Have you ever read the Mandie books??? If not… you should. And you should also learn how to swim. *goes off to do some research about lakes around Hocking Hills*
@hope YES! You must come. We are going to have a blast… this year we actually took time to go to the gym and relate the scary dreams we’d recently had… it…[Read more]

@hope YES!! I love sinking to the bottom. At Quaker Haven, @anne-of-lothlorien and I would sink to the bottom and lay there very dramatically like that one character in literature somewhere whose name is currently eluding me… 😉 It’s also really cool to see how distorted the sun becomes. And then you’re just sitting there and a fish swims by……[Read more]

@kate-flournoy This we must fix.
@hope Next year for Quaker Haven I need you to go kidnap Kate and bring her to camp so we can help her overcome her fear of water, even if she doesn’t learn how to swim. That’s what life jackets are for. @anne-of-lothlorien can’t technically swim, but she’s great in the water with a life-jacket (and she’s getting…[Read more]

@sleepwalkingmk So glad to have you join our crazy conversation! 😀 😀 😀
That dream sounds so crazy! I think my mind would explode. 😉
I think @anne-of-lothlorien is an ENFP; she generally only has internet access on Mondays though. She’ll probably get on here and die laughing before she can respond to anything. 😛 😀

@Daeus not only ice-cream, but cookies too?! YOU ARE AMAZING!!! 😀 Although now we may need a warning about this thread causing virtual diabetes.
@hope A T-shirt would be perfect! Who runs the swag around here? 😉

Hey, is there anybody here who has read Les Miserables? I’m working my way through it right now and completely loving everything except the fifty pages about the Battle of Waterloo. 🙂
@anne-of-lothlorien I read The Princess and the Goblin and its sequel, The Princess and Curdie. I loved them both, until the very end of The Princess and Curdie,…[Read more] -

@winter-rose yay! Great job!!This afternoon I went over yesterday’s writing and added about 1,300+ words to my first chapter today (right in the middle because I completely skipped a planned section yesterday, whoops.) but I’ll be writing more later.
How ’bout the rest of…[Read more]
