Awwww, thank you!
I’m so, so, SO glad you liked it. Scenes like that can be hard to do right, (and we sure didn’t get it perfect) but they’re loads of fun to write. Plus, it makes it all the more exciting when others enjoy them too.
Go on and write more! I’m sure they’ll be beautiful in their own unique ways.
(If you ever have one…[Read more]

Ok, yeah, we got it! It’s a wee bit restricted, but access is easy to grant. 😉

Yes! That is the beauty of it – the gainful death, if you read the epigraph. It holds conviction and hope in the same hand.
I hope the doc helps! 😉 By the by, if you read the doc and want to comment, feel free! We, my sister and I, enjoy hearing feedback.
It’s really just a continuation of the epilogue that Peterson…[Read more]

Hi everyone!
I’m considering joining the Author Conservatory, and I was interested to know if any of you are in it? If so, what are you thoughts on the program? Things I should know? Pros and Cons? Is there anything you wished you’d known before you joined, but didn’t?
For me, one of the things I’m struggling with is that I have already written…[Read more]

I’m more at peace today, my mom helped me because she read it. There was beauty in it. It couldn’t be Kalmar, it wouldn’t work. Janner had to grow in order to Sacrifice.
he was selfish throughout the series and he realized that. In realizing it, he was able to succumb to the Maker’s will, and be the Seed that was willing to be p…[Read more]

Okay so that title is a touch clickbait-y but also mostly true. The Reflections is a YA Christian Dystopian releasing April 8th. Advanced Reader Copy signups are available here. I only have 10 copies to send out because of my budget, but if you have 300 or more followers on any social platform, you might be able to get a cop…[Read more]

CONGRATS ON YOUR NOVEL!!!! I’m so happy for you! XD That is so exciting.
Hi! Welcome to the KP forum! I’m Lydia. 🙂 You’re writing about mermaids?? How fun! I’ve dabbled in writing mermaid stories myself! I ended up dropping that project, but it was a retelling of Ariel called Rebel. (Now that I’m thinking about it,…[Read more]

Here she is!
I really enjoyed drawing her ( and might’ve gotten a little carried away) I hope I managed to get her personality right.
I dug a bit into your blog, and I love the premise of Daughters of the Sea already! It reminds me a bit of Percy Jackson, and I love Percy Jackson!
Anyways, enjoy!

Yep! It’s very exciting! And that sounds awesome – have you written any series before?
Aw, thank you. The different reasons. . . hm. Evren has so much of me in her – the dreams, the love of stories, the things she’s drawn to. . . it’s been really interesting to explore that part of my personality through her. And L (who refuses…[Read more]

It’s a pleasure! I’ll definitely check out your blog.
I mostly take inspiration from places like anime and video games, but on the side of literature, my favourite authors would be Louisa May Alcott, G.K Chesterson, C.S Lewis and Hans Christian Andersen. My favourite books are Little Women, The Little Prince, Howl’s Moving Castle and…[Read more]

@annabelle Thanks! Yeah, I love making up animal-human combinations for some reason. My brother hates them, but I think they’re so cool.

@annabelle hey about ur WIP tho I haven’t finished it, there’s a series that is called the Waterfire saga and the main character is literally a mermaid princess (but it’s not corny at all quite the opposite). And it’s definitely YA (so just to let u know)and is a bit of a fantasy adventure.

@annabelle Thanks! The Dragonmen and Ailurids were actually created for fanfictions, where I wanted to insert human characters in place of the animal characters but I loved the animal dynamics. Plus, wings and tails and cat ears just look plain cool. The Raptaurs were something I made up entirely for a story I wrote but never quite finished, which…[Read more]

it is, isn’t it? writing about characters with anger problems has made me more aware of my temper. selfish ones make me see my own flaws. My dad has always said, what irritates us about others is usually our greatest weakness or something we fear becoming, which then in trying so hard to avoid we do ourselves.
Aw thanks! yeah im…[Read more]

@annabelle bahahaha meme has been made with slight alterations XDD
hahaha well its a series that extends over like, 50/60ish years, and then i have individual stories for the charries that have been alive for centuries, so *shrugs * for every book, at least 1 of the more important characters dies XD most of them are heartbreakers, so

@annabelle well everyone has different genres they do best. I can’t write much besides fantasy novels that are a gazillion pages in rough draft, and little allegorical short stories lol.
Hahah yeah we are evil though, you have to be if you’re gonna write sometimes. I’m so cruel,
