@epicaddie, @daughteroftheking, @skredder, @ingridrd, @dragon-snapper,
I have a praise point!
Last night a really big storm passed through our area. I really love the beauty of a storm, in fact my favourite kind of day is a rainy or stormy one.
Last night, though we were playing sport on the football field at the end of our street, and the…[Read more]

@rochellaine, Sorry, just got back from church. 🙂
I haven’t read a whole lot of time travel, but I’m certainly open to it.
And the Captain America I’m talking about is ‘The First Avenger’. The one with Hydra (look it up) 🙂

@jessi-rae I thought the same thing! JOIN THE FORUMS PLZZZZ!!!!
And the explaining….*earth-shaking groan*….If I offhandedly mention my book in public, and someone says, “Oh cool! What’s it about?” I have a scripted response to prevent complete rambling.
“It’s a fantasy book, and it’s got dragons and stuff.”
No one really asks any questions…[Read more]

@rochellaine Sorry, I was out for a bit. Everything except the “just living books”, as I find those rather boring. (I’m more of an adventure-oriented girl, if ya hadn’t noticed.)

@rochellaine I’ve read A Voice In The Wilderness and The Enchanted Barn by her, and I’ve read those 7 times each I love them so much. Her love stories are ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!
I don’t really know if I’ve read any books written then. I don’t really check, buut I have a suspicion I’ve mostly read books written in the last ten or twenty years.…[Read more]

@rochellaine I can’t bring myself to skip. IT GOES AGAINST EVERYTHING IN ME! I must write linearly, for some strange reason. *shrugs* What’s the plot of your western? Is it the one with the snake?

@rochellaine Still working on Embers Burning, (as it’s still my only major project) and I haven’t gotten far. I’ve sort of worked myself into a corner, as it were, because I know what needs to happen LATER, but I need to get past what’s happening NOW, and what’s happening now is rather tricky, yet important. (That statement is basically the last…[Read more]

@rochellaine, I like it! It’s a great analogy.
I’m writing alternative historical fiction about the Pacific (mainly Australia and Papua New Guinea) in WWII. When I first mentioned that here on the forum everyone’s reactions were “You’re changing history? You can’t do that!” But. Think Captain America (which I haven’t seen, but know the entire…[Read more]
