Hmm, ‘melded’ is a word I really like. I also like the word ‘gloaming’ (I’ve made the time work so I can use that word) and ‘turf’.

Not only Orrock. Hammond does it too. It’s funny, since I’d never really heard much of an Irish accent before Hornblower. I’m not sure how one would write down an Irish accent, other than to mention how they accent the letter R.

Sorry, I don’t think I can be the one who doesn’t like writing dialog. It’s one of my favorite parts and one of my only strong points in my first book. 😛 But I can ask some questions.

Actually it may also have to do with the impossible deadlines I set for myself— right now, I am angling to finish an eleven book series before I turn twenty, which is four years from now. Who knows if I’ll make it, but for now I’ll try for all I’m worth.
