Hm… the biggest problem to me seems to be the rushed flow of it @adry_grace. Also, the characters have zero personality. You know ’em because you’ve seen whatever it is they’re from, and it’s cool to you to have them in these situations because you know them and it’s fun to think how they would react, but I as a reader not familiar with the…[Read more]

Very good! I did notice a few places where you switched from present to past tense. At the end of the second paragraph, you say I got up clumsily. Also you say we weren’t not sure which I assume means we aren’t sure. But anyway, great job!!! -

@kate-flournoy, Haha, that’s great! 😛
This one’s not very good, but anyway…
There was a girl called Connie,
Whose sister’s name was Bonnie,
She was so wee,
That she will be,
Always with their Mommy. -

Hahaha… hilarious guys, all of them are hilarious.
And yes @Adry_grace, I can definitely see how that last one was ‘Eustace inspired’. 😉
It’s fun, isn’t it?

@adry_grace: Hehe, I’m as distracted as they come. 😉 Yeah, LOTR is a pretty hard read (my dad read it out loud to my siblings and me the first time). But it’s really worth it. Yes! Tolkien is the geniusest genius of all the geniuses. 😛

Did someone say getting distracted? That is my speciality. I’m glad you called, @adry_grace. (Oh, look another Civil War poster for my room…) Sorry, got a little sidetracked there, hehe. For those of you who are interested, I am wholly on Captain America’s side for Civil War, and I’m really excited and nervous. It’s going to be soooo good.

@adry_grace: Hehe, the life of a writer. XD Favorite books…hmm…well, I love the Harry Potter series, the Percy Jackson series, To Kill A Mockingbird, the Inheritance Cycle, Lord of the Rings… and I’m probably forgetting some. 😛

*claps hands in childish glee* It’s been a while since I heard Grover!
Welcome @adry_grace! So very nice to have you!
Random get to know you question… Would you consider yourself more of a country mouse? Or a city mouse?
(I’m a country girl 🙂 Nothing like the sweet fresh air and view of the country life!) -

@adry_grace: Yep, my favorite books list is…really long, too. 😛 Maze Runner was good–have you read the other books in the series? I’ve heard from a lot of people that the Book Thief is great, but I’ve never read it. Maybe I’ll pick it up this summer. 😉 I’m pretty much planning on doing nothing else but reading and writing this summer. XD

Welcome to KP, @adry_grace! I’ve not read a ton of scifi, but I have a scifi novel all planned out that I’m super excited about. Why do you like scifi so much, if you can tell me? Is it just all the awesome, confusing, techy stuff that makes no sense and makes your head spin? 😉
And: Salutations. 😉
