@rae

Okay. Ellis is also in the town, but they’ve interacted a lot in the other RP already. I could also add Kate, but I think I’ll wait and let some other people throw their characters in.

@whalekeeper @esther-c

Same! I’ve been looking at it a lot recently. I think it’s really good for understanding the main drive and personality of each character, but I don’t understand all of it completely.

Have you guys taken the test? I’m a 5, but I’m not sure what wing I am.

@esther-c I can’t wait!!

@stephie

Also, a triple bunk bed sounds AWESOME.

@stephie

Hi, so nice to meet you! I’m Hybridlore or Hybrid, a homeschooled sophomore, violinist, and science fiction writer.

(Hey, I’m also taller than my mom! But I wasn’t when I was thirteen XD)

Favorite genre?

Favorite books besides the chronicles of Narnia?

Okay, here’s a new one. Do you have a favorite poem, and what is it?

@esther-c @freedomwriter76

They look great! Have y’all tried out Milanote? It’s a pretty cool tool for making character references and moodboards 😊

Zahlin

Zahlin pointedly ignored her. Though it probably wouldn’t help anything.

Rina

“That is indeed most unfortunate for you, sir.”

Zahlin

“Leave me alone. I didn’t ask for your company.” Zahlin said.

Wow. Just, wow. The sword said, Your social skills never fail to amaze me, Zahlin.

@stephie

No problem!

Rina

“I’m not in your way,” Rina pointed out. “It won’t take you any longer to get where you’re going with me in front of you. In fact it could take shorter.”

@stephie

Okay, gotcha. The reply button at the top of each post just takes you to the text box at the bottom of the page, it doesn’t let you create nested replies. I assumed that would work when I joined too, but it doesn’t. Also note that the quote button next to the reply button does not work. If you want to quote someone, you can do this.

Zahlin

Zahlin glowered at her. “I don’t have time for this.” He snapped, “Get out of my way.”

Rina

Rina teleported in front of him again and started walking backwards.

“You know, it’s generally polite to respond to people. Grunting doesn’t count. Where are you going?”

Zahlin

Zahlin grunted and resumed his walk.

Rina

“Hmm, yes. Same,” said Rina. “That’s most mysterious, isn’t it?”

…And you already got an answer. (Thanks, KP lag.)

@stephie

So, you can’t exactly respond to one person. When you use someone’s tag (as I did at the beginning of this post) they get a notification. When you do that, it generally implies that you are addressing that person specifically. Does that answer your question?

@stephie

One question of my own: how do I respond to one person individually? And what’s up with tags? I think the two are related but I can’t seem to figure it out.

Ok, so the tags will tell people that you are talking to them, and they will receive a notification. It also shows who exactly you’re talking to—individually or collect…[Read more]
