(Random thought, but maybe he takes something from her, but she doesn’t realize it quite yet because she’s watching him steal from someone else. Then a little later she’s going ‘Where did I put…wait. did he…?’)

oh and also she does find out he’s a thief I think rather quickly. Dunno about the klepto thing tho, they may figure that out together, like she points it out or something, or someone else does.
