Hey there! It’s been a while since we had a chat on these forums. 🙂
I’ll start the conversation with the two standard questions, then. 😉 How’s your WIP going? (is it set in the Great War or WWII?) and have you discovered any new musicals lately, or what have you been re-listening to?

I’m slowly pegging away at my WIP. It’s set in WW1 and I’m suffering from a classic case of there being far too much research and I’m feeling swamped by it all.
I’m not sure that I have found many new musicals lately. I’ve been listening to Aida a fair bit and a lot of Scottish Gaelic and Irish music. Not a lot of musicals unfortunately.
I remember us having a conversation about ballet before but I can’t remember whether you liked it or not? I’ve been listening to a lot of ballet scores as well.

I remember discussing Aida with you a bit when you first discovered it. I never actually ended up listening to it, (probably because I’m really not at all into ancient Egypt, 😉 ) but sounds like you’ve enjoyed it. What’s one of your favorite Celtic songs? I love Celtic music, but don’t actually listen to it all that often, and I’d love to have more suggestions of songs to listen to.
Yes, I love ballet! It was my favorite type of dance until I was about thirteen or fourteen. Which ballets do you like best? I haven’t listened to many scores, but I do really love the Swan Lake score (and after a long search was able to find a version of the choreography where the two leads survived in the end! 😀 ) I found out recently that they’re making Anne of Green Gables into a ballet, so I’m really interested in seeing how that turns out.

I haven’t been working on much during most of December, but I’ve been mostly focusing on my superhero book and writing a guest post (currently).
Combining different aspects of cultures sounds interesting!
