Did you know there’s another b&w Tale of Two Cities? It has Ronald Colman in it, and it’s a 1930s one, I think. I don’t think its as good as Dirk Bogarde, but it isn’t bad.
I decided to go for tattoos. I don’t know about the ID tag scene though. Justice will have to burn something else 😛
It’s going pretty well. I’ve had to rearrange a lot of the first part, but so far it seems to be working quite well, and I think I’ve fixed a lot of the plot holes.

Ronald Colman???! I love him! As an actor, I mean. 😛 He did an amazing film called Random Harvest about a guy who gets amnesia, marries a woman in his amnesic state, and then recovers from his amnesia, but forgets the three years he spent while under the effects, which means he forgets about his wife. It’s one of my favorite films, and a good deal of that is attributed to the fact that he’s a wonderful actor.
But yes, 1930s films were rarely loyal to the originals books.
Well, we know Justice likes burning things. I’m sure he’ll find something. 😉 (He should really talk to @catwing’s character…)

@catwing They both burn things when seeking revenge, when angry and when slightly inconvenienced, how can they not be?

Now there needs to be a story about Alex and Justice running around the world burning random things and shouting “it’s for revenge!” before disappearing to plan what to burn next.
And after a while, Alex will eventually ask Justice, “what do you want revenge for?” and Justice will ask her the same thing, and they’ll tell each other their stories and fall in love, and after realizing that with so much love in their hearts they have no time for revenge, they’ll settle in a little cottage together happily, and have a bonfire in the back yard every second Tuesday.
