Now I’ve moved on to completely forgetting to tag you
On another note, I just sent an email to you, or attempted to. Because I sent it to myself instead.

November 9, 2018 at 7:48 pm #77854Oh dear. If the people of the QOD world meet my emperor or my crown prince in ROF… Say hello to your new ruler. He’s going to whip your miserable, corrupt selves into shape.
Meanwhile, poor Myeongwol is soooo not equipped to deal with the ROF world. She’ll probably just die in the first villain attack.
November 9, 2018 at 7:53 pm #77855I thought it would be something along those lines 😛

November 9, 2018 at 8:03 pm #77856@seekjustice I think you need some rest 😉
I’m actually going to leave right now. Just kinda tired/burnt out a little bit; need a break. I may or may not be on later. 😛

www.jennaterese.comNovember 9, 2018 at 8:04 pm #77857Haha so you were just asking to get confirmation? 😛
Now I’m just imagining the character interactions between Shu Juqing and Yi Yeongshin and pondering over the similarities and differences of my two crown princes.
Are you still around? It’s your turn to ask a question.

Most certainly. Since Jen is gone, would you like to ask a question?

November 9, 2018 at 8:15 pm #77860All right. Here’s my question:
What do your characters think is the worst thing that can be done to a person?
November 9, 2018 at 8:24 pm #77861On a completely random note, you know how I asked what beverage your character would like to drink and you answered that Yilla would probably have only ever drank water before her entrance to the palace? Well, do you think Yilla would drink mare milk? Or milk from whatever other animals her family has?
I’m not sure what culture you are basing Yilla’s tribe on but I know that there tribal alcoholic beverages (one of them is called cauim).
November 9, 2018 at 8:28 pm #77862Yilla would say to take away someone’s freedom. Courageous would say to take their dignity. High-Praise would say would say their privilege/inheritence/dues.
Or maybe their hot chocolate, who knows?
What is the most embarrassing situation they have ever been in?

November 9, 2018 at 8:35 pm #77863Her culture is loosely based on general Australian Aboriginal culture. Horses are a very recent addition to real world Australia and the real life Aborigines had little to do with them. Aborigines also, for the most part lived hunter-gatherer lifestyles and didn’t really keep animals, so I can’t really steal from real life when it comes to that.
I don’t know about alcoholic drinks though. I’d have to research that and I don’t particularly want to get sucked into a research worm hole. Certainly though, English alcohol was very foreign to them, so it probably wouldn’t be a recognisable sort of drink.
Something to ponder anyway 😀

November 9, 2018 at 8:38 pm #77864I think you have a pretty good idea as to the most embarrassing situation Myeongwol has ever been in (hint: it’s in the first chapter). In case you haven’t noticed, I tend to put my characters in lots of awkward and embarrassing situations. 😛 That’s because I have always been puzzled as to why so many writers can allow their MCs to be tortured but can’t seem to bear the idea of their MCs being socially humiliated or looking stupid when really, such awkward and embarrassing situations are more common in real life than torture.
Oh, right… Yilla likes growing plants right? Does she have any skill in concocting herbal drinks and teas? 😛
My question: If your characters told a lie, what is the most likely reason for them to do so?
(scratches head) Am I asking one or two questions here?
November 9, 2018 at 8:39 pm #77865Would you like to join in the Crazy Character Game?

November 9, 2018 at 9:06 pm #77866@seekjustice Uh, that sounds interesting. 😛
I’ve got to send an email for the family ministry, but then I’d love to join! How is it played? 😀

November 9, 2018 at 9:12 pm #77867Hi, glad you can join us 😀 Basically, we take turns asking questions about our characters and answer them. You can skim through our earlier posts to get an idea.
The last question was asked by me (the lying one) so I’ll wait for your answers. Then it’ll be @seekjustice’s turn to ask a question.
