@seekjustice Oh, haha! 😀 My parents told me, I’m sure, the first time I watched it, which was before I can remember. It was years later that I read the book, but I had always known the movie characters were based on real people.
You should definitely read the book! Maria has a great sense of humor, and a great style of writing.
