@rochellaine Are you still writing? I’ll join you for a few minutes!

March 19, 2018 at 1:41 pm #67397@sleepwalkingmk Great! What are you working on?

March 19, 2018 at 1:42 pm #67398@rochellaine A random poem freewrite. What are you working on?

March 19, 2018 at 1:44 pm #67399@sleepwalkingmk A short story that I started a long time ago and just rediscovered. 🙂 I’m hoping to actually finish it this time before I forget about it again!

March 19, 2018 at 1:45 pm #67400@rochellaine Oo, interesting! I hope you can finish it! How long do you want to write?

March 19, 2018 at 1:48 pm #67401@sleepwalkingmk You mean for how long will I be here, writing? I am not sure. It mostly depends on when I get called for lunch, which could be in five minutes, or a half hour. 😀 I’m usually on for longer later in the day. What time zone are you in?

March 19, 2018 at 1:50 pm #67402@rochellaine I’m in Romania… so, I’m 6 hours ahead of EST. I think it’s GMT+2? Though I’m not sure. I have about 5-10 minutes.

March 19, 2018 at 1:52 pm #67403@sleepwalkingmk Will you be here in about two hours? That should be ten o’clock where you live, right? I’m usually here for a while around that time.

March 19, 2018 at 1:54 pm #67404@rochellaine No, sorry, I probably won’t be on. 🙁 My bedtime is early 😛

March 19, 2018 at 1:57 pm #67406@sleepwalkingmk Oh well. 🙁 How’s the poem turning out? What’s the subject?
@daughteroftheking Hello! What are you working on?"Sylvester - Sylvester!"
March 19, 2018 at 1:59 pm #67408@rochellaine Pretty strangely. It started out as a kind of ode to a friend I miss in the States, and morphed into a villain’s backstory. I got past 200 words 😀 How about you? How’s your story going?

March 19, 2018 at 2:03 pm #67410@sleepwalkingmk Whoa! That’s kind of – weird? 😀 My story’s going okay, but I’ve got the MC’s love interest wanted for murder, and I don’t know why yet. I don’t think he killed the person, but I don’t even know who died. So I’m in a bit of a mess. Maybe I’ll figure it out once she reads the note he left her. He probably explains everything in there.
Isn’t it strange when your characters know more than you do about the story? That should be against the laws of writer-land. We’re supposed to be in charge, aren’t we? 😀

March 19, 2018 at 2:08 pm #67411@rochellaine It’s been a long time since I felt like I was in control of my characters. XP *meaningful glance at Certain Character Who Shall Not Be Named, namely Caroline* I’m writing a short story about nerds in the apocalypse. Or something.

March 19, 2018 at 2:16 pm #67413@rochellaine Haha, yes it is weird. Oh, interesting. Lots of tension there! Oh, wow.
Yess! it is! They take over each story I write. And sometimes pop out of nowhere.
