Hello! I’ve missed you lately 😀

My current book is a retelling of the life of pirate/botanist/navigator William Dampier, and Jeanne Baret, the botanist who was the first woman to circumnavigate the globe. To be honest, I’ve enjoyed the intense amounts of research I’ve done more than the actual book writing so far, but its really different to anything I’ve done before (it has a proper planned romance!!) and its fun 😀

Wow, a planned romance, huh? 😛 Well, the romances in your previous books have been the subject of so much discussion here, I’ve a feeling the new one is going to be a hit as well. 😉

And a pirate/botanist? That sounds really interesting. I never considered those two professions/hobbies going together.

Yes, an actual planned romance 😛

William Dampier is definitely worth a read if you ever get time. He wrote several books as well, and was one of the first documented “discoverers” of Australia. He was quite a fascinating figure.
