@gracie-j
Chapter 27 and a wedding, huh? Does that mean it’s almost finished?
What’s the premise? (I’m assuming his-fic is the genre? 😉 )
So, are you looking for a full orchestra or an ensemble, or a harpsichord or what? I personally do not find harpsichords soothing, but everyone has their tastes. 😛

@rochellaine Sorry I disappeared on you last night. How did the outlining go?
In answer to your questions–no. I’m not even close to finished, which is a wee bit depressing. I’m about halfway through and at one of two weddings.
His-fic, yes. It’s the third in a series, so it’s almost like two stories in one–a continuation of my female privateer captain’s story (this is the most action-packed of the lot, so far) and then a romance between her quartermaster and his childhood friend.
A single fiddle, actually. I don’t expect the music itself to be soothing, but it’s certainly not as bad as a harpsichord. I’m not very partial to those myself. 😋
What’s the premise of the story you’re outlining?

@e-k-seaver Yay! *waves furiously* (Well, it’s been about an hour now, so I’m assuming you’re still at it…) How’s it going?
@devastate-lasting Gotcha! What subject?October 23, 2020 at 2:35 pm #86519@gracie-j US Government and Politics, haha. Trying to finish this week’s assignments today so that I can go take the ACT tomorrow and not work on them afterwards.

@devastate-lasting Sounds like a ton of fun…ha, ha. Perfect timing for politics though, isn’t it? What’s your favorite subject–aside from English, of course? I mean, that’s a given.
October 23, 2020 at 2:47 pm #86522@gracie-j Hm…my least favorite subject is science, haha. My favorite I would have to say is Literature. But that’s English though…uh…I don’t really like school much…Algebra was fun though…when I understood what was going on. Do my piano lessons count? Though…my teacher just retired last week so I don’t have those anymore either.

@devastate-lasting I totally understand, girl! Me + School = Torture…and I’m homeschooled!
Piano lessons definitely count. If you learn it, it’s a subject. I took ballet for a couple of years myself and really enjoyed it, until my teacher retired and closed the studio, so I know what that’s like. How long had you been taking?
October 23, 2020 at 3:06 pm #86525@gracie-j I feel like that my home’s homeschooling is so different from other people haha… Can’t wait to graduate.
Hmm…I’ve done piano lessons for…eleven years now? And ballet for…eight? I think. I guess I’m gonna have to self teach myself now if I even have time to practice, haha.

@devastate-lasting Every home/family is different. Most of my schooling is included in what I do with my writing (history, geography, some math, social studies, etc.)–but I dual enrolled last year and will take classes at another school come next year. I know I can’t wait to graduate myself, but the idea of college/working is a wee bit overwhelming.
There’s always YouTube, you know. I’d considered teaching myself with some videos after I quit dancing, but never got around to it. Speaking of ballet…how do you like it? Are you a pointe dancer?
