Can anyone think of times in fiction/whatever where police officers, government officials, or just the authorities in general are referred to with a unique term or nickname? For example, calling lawyers Suits, or the āTen Menā in Mysterious Benedict Society.
I already have an idea, but I would love some prompts to jostle my brain. They donāt have to be original, just things youāve already seen.

In Mistborn there’s the Garrison and the Constable, in Marvel there’s Shield, the Blade Runners in blade runner, the Nightwatch, the Aurors, Officers of God, are ones I’ve found.

@whalekeeper Can’t think of any nicknames other than coppers or boys in blue, but this has somehow sent me down a research rabbit hole on different types of slang XD I think I’m going to make a new character who uses Cockney rhyming slang
