#ProtectSebU could also do things with food association, because some children have issues with that as well if they had issues with not being fed very well. U could do that for Pietro and maybe the others don’t know about it, except Wanda?
Maybe Pietro feels he has to steal/sneak food for later because he wasn’t fed as much as he needed. This also makes sense because due to his super speed, his body would actually need more sustenance then most to keep up with his metabolism, so if they already weren’t being fed super well, this would have been even worse for poor Pietro.

Chapter 21
“I’ll see you all later! I will pick you up around four, alright!?” Thor called from the van.
Loki waved. “See you then!”
He patted Tony and Sam’s shoulders. “Come on. Can’t be late to class.”
Tony smirked. “Like we’re the ones everyone should be worried about.”
“Yeah Loki…aren’t you the troublemaker?” Sam asked. Winked.
Loki huffed. “I see how it is.”
Tony and Sam both laughed.
Loki grinned. “Let’s see who can get to the door first.” He took off running.
“HEY!” they both called out after him.
Loki laughed.
They wouldn’t catch up to him.
He stopped at the large school door. “Ha-ha. I won.”
Sam skidded to a stop. “You had a head start, that’s why.”
Tony was trying to come to a stop, when a girl, red-headed, walked out of the school doors, reading a book aloud.
She and Tony collided, hard.
They both hit the concrete.
“Tony, are you okay!?” Loki cried, going to his side, as Sam helped the girl up.
“Yeah…I…I’m good.” Tony shook his head.
“Sorry about that.” Tony mumbled.
Loki stepped away, as did Sam.
The girl gave Tony a small smile. “It’s okay. I should have been watching where I was going. I’m Pepper. And you’re…Tony, that’s what your brother said, right?”
Loki glanced at Tony.
Tony merely stared at her, eyes wide. “Uhm…yeah…yeah. I’m…I’m Tony.”
Loki smirked. Leaned over towards Sam. “Someone is mystified.”
Sam chuckled. “Someone is most certainly in love.”
Loki smiled.
Good.
Maybe it could help Tony adjust better.
Loki’s smile faded.
He and Thor had heard Nick, Phil, and Maria talking at night about the kids. The PTSD. The trauma. The powers and abilities.
None of them were having an easy time adjusting, except for maybe Peter and Pietro.
After hearing them talking, Loki couldn’t sleep for a few hours.
Good thing him and Thor normally stayed up past midnight anyways.
“I guess I’ll see you in class then, Tony.” Pepper said with a wave, her book back in her hands.
Tony nodded. “Uhm…yeah…see you then.”
She rushed off, meeting up with a few friends.
Loki and Sam both glanced at Tony, both raising eyebrows.
Tony looked at them. Rolled his eyes. “Oh, shut up.”
Chapter 22
Clint shouldered his backpack.
Ugh.
It was so heavy.
So much homework.
But hey, at least Clint had gotten an A on his algebra test. Sure, it was an A-, but still an A.
“Watch out, loser.” A boy walked past. Pushed Clint’s shoulder, making it smack into his locker.
Clint rubbed his head as the boy and his cronies stalked away.
His jacket sleeve rolled up, revealing the pink scar on his left arm.
Clint quickly pulled his sleeve back down.
“You call this clean!? A dog could do better! I cannot have my animal cages looking like a pigsty!” The ringmaster, Ryton, yelled.
“I’m sorry sir. It…it won’t happen again.” Clint said, his gaze falling.
The short whip in Ryton’s hands struck Clint’s left arm.
He screamed.
He couldn’t help it.
Blood fell.
“It better not.”
Clint slammed his locker closed.
He needed to stop thinking about it.
Everyone had scars.
Just…not all were…visible.
And sometimes…people had both visible and invisible.
Clint shook his head.
He wouldn’t think about that.
He just needed to focus on getting home and getting his homework done.
He had all his books…all his homework…now he just needed to wait with the others for Thor.
Clint walked down the hall. Stopped.
Bruce was being picked on…again?
“Are you going to try and stop me, Nerd? Or are you just going to stand there like an idiot!?”
The boy was a different one this time. A blonde with dark blue eyes. He grinned. “Well?”
“Hey, leave him alone.” Bucky ordered, pulling the boy away.
He smirked. “Why should I? Back off, freak.” He shoved Bucky away.
“Hey. Leave them both alone.” Steve snarled.
Clint stopped.
Suddenly, Loki, Tony, and Sam came around the corner. They stopped in their tracks, stopping right beside Clint.
Loki groaned quietly. “Great…not that kid. The army builder.”
“Army builder?” Tony asked, raising an eyebrow.
“An army of bullies.” Loki replied.“You know him?” Clint asked.
Loki shrugged. “Everyone does.”
“You want me to leave the freaks alone!? Okay, I will!” The boy shoved Bucky against a locker.
“Hey! I said leave them alone!” Steve yelled.
Pinned the boy against the wall.
He smirked. “What, going to hurt someone again? Didn’t you get detention on the first day of school?”
“Leave them alone and I won’t have to.”
“Who is that kid, Loki?” Sam asked, anger in his tone.
The boy looked at them. Smirked. “I can tell you that one. Alec Pierce at your service.”
Pierce?
That meant…it couldn’t be…“My father owns a big orphanage slash boarding school. I remember all of you very well.”
Oh no.
It was.
Clint leaned against a locker.
Alec got out of Steve’s grip. Turned to Bucky. “You wanna fight me, Bucky? Then come at me.” He shoved Bruce, knocking him over.
Bucky started to go for him, and Alec punched him, hard.
Bucky hit the floor.
Groaned.
This couldn’t end well.
Steve grabbed Alec and pinned him back against the wall. “What. Are. You. Thinking!?”
“Out of my way, Steve.” Alec shoved Steve back, and surprisingly, he actually could.
“Hey, leave them alone you big jerk.” Peggy said, suddenly stepping forward.
Clint raised an eyebrow. Where had she come from?
Alec smirked. “Oh, I don’t want to hit a pretty girl.”
“You had no problem hitting them.” Peggy argued.
Alec grinned. Leaned closer to her. “But you’re a pretty girl. It’s…different.”
Peggy slapped him, hard.
Alec stumbled backwards. “What the…?”
“Think I’m just a pretty little girl now?”
Alec roared.
And came for Peggy.
He knocked her over.
Clint rushed to help her.
Alec got ready to punch Clint or Peggy, Clint didn’t know who, but he didn’t get that far.
Steve grabbed him. “Don’t you dare touch any of them.”
Alec smirked. “Oh yeah? Watch me.”
He got out of Steve’s grip and lunged for Peggy.
He punched her, hard.
Peggy gasped and groaned.
Clint was going to hurt Alec.
But Steve beat him to it.
He punched Alec, hard.
Something cracked, and Alec went flying.
Through a wall.
“What HAPPENED!?” The school nurse, playfully nicknamed Storm for her sternness, cried.
Clint looked up at Steve. Oh…not this again.
