Yeah, I get burnout at specific points and get stuck. I actually made it all the way to 48k once, and then scraped and replotted the whole thing. The big thing that’s helped me get over the hurdles is well, actually using all the ideas I have stored up. I tend to write things down like wouldn’t it be cool to have… idk, a romance between these 2 characters, a scene with this conflict, or a moment where character has to make x choice, but it would never happen. So I just like decided to figure out how to progress the story with the goal of it reaching those ideas, and it helped me make progress.
Ok! I will!
Oh, sounds cool. I love sci fi! And it sounds like you’ve got some awesome worldbuilding opportunities for that new world they crashed on. Feel free to tag me if you post from it!

October 27, 2024 at 3:56 pm #188413Auugh, thatās annoying. 50k is so close! lol. Thanks for the tip! I will try to implement it and see if it helps š
Thanks! Yeah, itās the best. I will definitely! And yeah, actually, thatās something I really need to flesh out more, so if youāre up to it, I might tag you for some brainstorming help sometime. š

October 27, 2024 at 7:38 pm #188424Yes! I am rather new, and Iāve not been active in months!!! Iāve thought about checking in now and then, but you knowā¦ Iām busy!
Updates:
Iām finally getting back into a schedule!! And, Iāve started working more on writing. I have a WIP series now too, which makes me so excited!! This will be my first serious-going-to-be-published book. At least, if thatās Godās will.
By the way, how does RP work? How do write a story that way?
Iād love to hear updates on you other guys. What are you writing?

October 27, 2024 at 7:59 pm #188429Hi! My name is Liberty Durmaz. Iām a newer KP member, and not very active either. Iām currently working on a new exciting WIP! Iām also participating in Inktober for writers. Some other things about me:
Iām a young home-educated follower of Jesus Christ. Iām filled with the passion to write God glorifying stories. I also have a huge passion for horses, and dogs. ( I mean, just read this quote: āI am still under the impression that there is nothing alive quote so beautiful as a horseā John Galsworthy)
Anyway, I have a brindle mix dog named Buddy, and I love training him. Iām a student of Homeschool the Dog, and am learning as a junior dog trainer. I also love spending time with my family, and growing together with them. I love the country far more than the city.
As for shows, I absolutely love the Hornblower series. I watched that series, and fell in love with the 1700ās/1800ās navy.
I was just curious, what is your illness?
Just some encouragement:
āTrust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.ā
Proverbs 3:5-6
āBe still and know that I am God.ā
Psalm 46:10
āBe anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.ā
Philippians 4:6
āI can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.ā
Philippians 4:13
āBe strong and of good courage. Do not be afraid nor be dismayed for the Lord your God is with you, wherever you go.ā
Joshua 1:9
These truths have helped me through hard times, and still are. Jesus is in control, even when things donāt seem to be going well.
What is your story about?

October 27, 2024 at 9:21 pm #188433Oh man. My cousin had Lyme disease. so, I kinda know first hand how deadly that can be. I’ll be praying for you.
Nope. I’m not going to collage. I plan to stay right here at home. The things that I want to do in life (write and home school a family) don’t need a collage degree (and certainly don’t need collage debt. lol) I may take some writing classes tho.
Ugh, what are my favorite movies? You can’t do this to me!! *sobs*
Okay, I’ll try to limit it to top ten.
I think my all time favorite ever is called Bella. (2006, I don’t know if there are other movies by that name) If you ever decide to watch anything off my list, this is the one to chose.
The Young Victoria
Tintin The Movie
Little Boy
Hacksaw Ridge (with filters)
Jojo Rabbit (with filters)
Legend of the Guardians of Gahool
Woodlawn
All three Captain America movies. (with filters for language)
Beyond the MaskHmm, favorite act of AGT (This year mind you) would have to be the Canadian boy who’s a singer just because he’s so raw and real and isn’t trying to put on a show, and the idea to bring old music styles back is quiet a good one. I also enjoyed (and I’m ashamed to say this) Roni and her Dancing dog. Nowe, I ALWAYS dislike the dog acts because they seem so cheesy and cheep and I feel like they only win because the dogs are cute. However, her FIRST act was so, so good. It had the whole place breathless. Her second try was not so good. I also liked those guys who did the pole walking/dancing/hanging/thing……. whatever that was. And Learnmore’s Audition was really good. His act…. not so much. I feel like there were some others……. but I’m kinda blanking.
How about you? Do you have any favorite acts from AGT this year?
I have read all the Wingfeather books and seen season 1 and 2. We hit it on a special week where you could watch it and our family binge watched the whole second season. I’m so, so sad they’re locking it all down. š

October 27, 2024 at 10:25 pm #188439Thanks. Yeah, I have Lyme disease. Itās under researched and there isnāt a hard and fast protocol for it. I mean yeah thereās antibiotics, but Iāve been sick most of my life so Iām weak. According to my docter, those who go straight for treating the illness without getting stronger first struggle a lot. She said you can hardly tell if youāre killing the illness or the patient š¬. I have multiple other illnesses, consider it all a part of the same problem though. I tell people lyme because itās the most well known one I have and kinda gets the point across.
Oof. I feel you a bit girl. My Dad has chronic Lyme’s. My big brother had to go to Mexico when he was two to take an experimental Lyme’s treatment to save his life. Thankfully it worked for him.
Plus, last year I hadĀ Lyme’s, Legionela, and Bartenella all at around the same time. And the antibiotics…they tore me down so hard I was in bed most of the day for around two months. Needless to say my school fell behind and I’m still trying to make up for it. Plus I lost almost my strength so I had too build that up over the summer. I even ended up loosing pounds I didn’t need to. It was rough.
Thankfully, it appears as though I’m clear now.
Just hang on. The darkness must be there so that the dawn can come.

*Stitches the title into a cap and puts it on your head*
Hey thatās not what I meant! š I meant I wanted a update on how much you are enjoying gravity falls, not that you needed to update to a new show! Have you finished? Is it still really good? Whatās your favorite thing about it so far?
I did finish, and it was indubitably pleasant! My dad is now attempting to watch it, not because I recommended it, but because his tough military friend likes it, lol. My favorite part of it is the twin protagonists, they are cute obnoxious siblings which is very relatable.
Aw Iām sorry! I donāt remember all of what you told me before, but I remember it sounded hectic. Iāll pray for you < 3
Thank you š It’s just mental stuff, nothing physical like what you’re dealing with. Which, by the way, is bound to get better because I am willing it to with my fabled Whaley psych… *stares at you really hard* Okay, well, it’s God’s will, but I’m sending in a prayer for you every time I think of you. <3
Whatās the costume for?
…Trick or treating. š I’m seventeen, but I think the neighborhood makes an acception for me. Firstly because other teens tend to hit the candy buckets without ringing doorbells, and second, because I try to have cool costumes. This is probably going to be my last time.

That’s crazy. And what makes a chronic illness even more detrimental is how the effects trickle down to different members of the family, whether physically or mentally. I have lost upwards of twenty pounds body weight, in part due to someone else’s illness.

Wow that’s so much. Usually I don’t know how to feel when people tell me they knew blank person with Lyme, or had it themselves, bc y’know everyone’s experience is different. Some people live with it for years and others for months, sometimes it’s really bad and sometimes less. For most of my life I wasn’t intensely ill, but it has been for almost my whole life, so I missed out on a lot of those memories and milestones other people have. Thanks for sharing though, it’s always good to hear from people who made it out the other side. It’s hard for me to find understanding people.
Thankfully, it appears as though Iām clear now.
Just hang on. The darkness must be there so that the dawn can come.
Yeah, I guess. Thanks for trying to cheer me up XD I’ll keep pushing
