“You like Everly? That’s so cute! You two should totally get together!” Lyn cries, saving Ara from having to explain.
“Oh..” Paxton said, understanding now, at least what little he could.
“Lyn…” Grimm palmed his face as Layson turns even redder.
Layson stares blankly in front of himself.
Everly laughs slightly through her initial embarrassment, and makes a silent “Aww” at Lyn, who seems to be already invested.
Henry smiles at Layson. “I love that, bro. Chivalry is a great thing to be prepared for.”
“Y-yes.” Layson stutters, nervously playing with the braid in his bangs.
Not impossible chivalry though. I’d have to be superhuman to fjord those rapids.
Ethando nods quietly. “If you needed to in real life, I’m positive you would find the strength to save Miss Everly, no matter where she was or what danger presented itself.”
“MM-MHm.”
Ok, let’s please really stop this conversation.
“Um, well, I suppose I get to choose next…”
“November?”
“Truth or dare?” Layson asks, relieved to have the attention averted from him.
"Past or future... let them be."
And, I have a splitting headache, so I need to go crash for the night. I may check in a little later, but probably not.

November nearly jumped out of his skin at the sound of his own name. He jerked his head toward Layson, blinking.
“H-huh?”
“Truth or dare?”
November’s heart felt like it was going to beat out of his chest. He stared at the man like he had grown two heads. Layson tilted his head, raising a brow.
November winced, feeling a bit silly. It…was just a game after all. Really, feeling this…anxious over a game.
But…he…couldn’t help it.
“U-Uh…” He glanced at his friends, wishing they’d make the decision for him. Lyn was grinning at him, Grimm looked stoic as ever, Luna was just enjoying the game it seemed, Paxton was watching with wide curiosity, and Ara…
Gah…he couldn’t look at Ara!
He didn’t know which to pick!
If he chose truth…there was a chance he’d have to say something…incredibly embarrassing that…might ruin his whole life…
But if he said dare…he might have to do something incredibly embarrassing.
THAT COULD RUIN HIS WHOLE LIFE.
WHO HAD MADE THIS GAME?!
“Umm…Tr-Tru-No! Dare.” He decided last minute. The lesser of two evils.

“Hmm… a dare.” Layson puts on his deep thinking expression, furrowing his brow.
“I dare you to ask your author… where you will be in ten years.” Lasyon looks from November to Godly.
Authors apparently know everything, what could go wrong?

#ProtectSeb@mineralizedwritings XD yea we can come in if there’s ever a truth/dare they don’t want to do/refuse to do wether it be because we as the authors write it that way because WE don’t want them to XD we can find a loophole around it, or if they’re being rude and won’t, we can force them XD
we can also enter if for any reason we need to to explain something or whatever. And if we did need to for a dare or anything we can ?

Layson glances around the room.
“I dare you… to see what’s behind that door.”
Layson points at a large door, rising nearly 15 feet tall. It’s imposing and menacing frame shoots up even higher, as if a castle entrance.
(There can be literally nothing behind the door if you want, the point is it looks scary XD)

Oh also Novembers reaction was sooo cute! It’s just adorable how he’s confided in Lyn and she’s totally shipping them, meanwhile Ara has no idea XD

November turned and Everyone jumped as an extremely large door appeared in the wall nearby Nyx. The kit screeches, jumping four feet into the air. He hissed, hackles raising, glaring at the door as if it could hear him.
“STUPID LITTLE-“
“That ain’t little.” Someone said. Nyx glared at them too.
“Where did that come from?!” Someone else asked.
November stared at it with wide eyes. He looked back at Layson, who glanced at him then shrugged.
The ginger gulped, slowly rising to his feet. He…could’ve asked to not do it…but…
It was just a door. There was probably nothing behind it anyway! And…he didn’t want to seem like a coward. Though he sure felt like one, as his heart began to beat rapidly.
Man was this a big door…and dark…wait were those spikes?
He stared at the handle for a moment.
“You just gonna stare at it?”
November jumped, then pursed his lips, giving a small glare to the kit who’d returned to sitting on the box near the door. Nyx shrugged. November reached for the handle, slowly twisting it. He opened the door, just as Nyx said.
“By the way…pretty sure I smell some sort of animal behind there so…yea.”
November straightened, “What?!”
Grey fur suddenly flew from the door, making November cry out and fall back. Everyone behind let out a cry of alarm.
November wrestled with the animal, and then stopped as he stared at the face of it.
“GRIMM?! WHAT?!”
The wolf leapt off, quickly transforming into the dark haired boy he knew.
He didn’t look any happier then November.
November sat up, coughing. “What we’re you-“
Grimm growled, dusting off his pants. Everyone in the circle suddenly turned, now realizing for the first time he wasn’t sitting beside Jocelyn and Luna.
“Huh…” Lyn said, scratching her head.
The dark-haired young man shook his head, stalking back to his seat in the circle, mumbling something about “Author magic” and “Cursed Doors”
November just blinked, still utterly confused as the door disappeared.
And Nyx, was laughing his head off.

I was just like, what if
the authors in the “author room” made the door, and then I, being my evil self, transported Grimm in there and he’s just like WHAT?! And no one even realizes he’s gone ?

Tauren stiffens at the sight of a large grey creature bounding from the door. A couple of screams sound from the group, one of them being lesli. Lesli’s eyes grow wide with terror as the animal transforms. Scooting a bit behind Tauren, who was just wishing to do the same to Lesli, she watches in amazement. The creature turns into Grimm, who is no longer sitting where he was. Tauren scoots back a bit, fear brimming in his eyes. Grimm mutters about “Author magic”, but Tauren just shrugs it off.
Authors can’t do that…
or can they?
Lesli lets out a sigh of… relief? Or perhaps just realization that a shapeshifter is better than a wolf.
