“Yeah, me too.” Carmen responded. “But that was sooo sweet!” She smiled at November and the girl next to him who seemed completely oblivious to his crush.

Mel rolled her eyes and slumped dramatically against Simon. “Ugh. That’s so boring. They should have made him eat a ghost pepper or something.”

“Everyone wants to save the world, but no one wants to help mom with the dishes.”

November frowned, face still beet red from his dare. He peeked out from his hands, sweat beading on his neck.

“I…umm…guess it’s my turn,” he said, hoping to get the attention off himself. Though, considering everyone was still staring at him with the largest of grins, he doubted that was going to happen anytime soon, “Ahh…” He looked around the crowd. “Simon is it? Truth or dare?”
