      @devastate-lasting XD Well, in order that your devastation at this present knowledge should not continue upon a course destined for destruction and ruin, I shall attempt to correctly act older than you in all aspects, if that makes you feel any better. By the way, who was the other person who “betray”ed you?

      Gosh, I need to change that shot; it’s a very old photograph, anyways. Quite out of date. Here I’ll do that. The one up now is my creepy (as my sister would say) mystery novel writer profile photo. I had no idea that photo could cause so much havoc and confusion…XD As for a difference between coasts: I’ve never visited the east coast, and all I can say for kids in the teenage years over here is this: they are by no means perfect. In my ninth grade English class, instead of actually applying English in all senses of the term, we jounaled and drew pictures. Don’t ask me about it, it’s a long, sad, and very depressing story. I actually learned most in math that year; which changed things math-wise also for me. In my science, I colored, used scissors for cutting paper every week or so, and taped graphic concepts into a notebook. This was also semi-likewise depressing. Except for the fact that the science was interesting.

      XD Not 21? How about between 17 and 19? I’m betting you’re somewhere in there. Unless you’re 16 which would be slightly strange. 50? Seriously? I mean, even know you’re not 50, and I thought you were 21. As for normal, I probably act the most abnormal to the common society. I’ll bet if a bunch of KP people met together, most of you wouldn’t recognize my character at all. Until I got comfortable with the room, of course. Then I’ll hand you ear-plugs while I boom out my boisterous laugh. XD

      A guy? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! That’s absolutely absurd! What nonsense. You act nothing like a boy acts.

        @leon-fleming, that’s a lovely photo. You still look older. Perhaps it has something to do with the black and white/high contrast. I think I’d like to try and see if that works on mine.

        Children nowhere are perfect. (But a German child will always be kinder.)  Oof, I get that. I used to love history, but my highschool teacher was awful. He barely taught in class, just making us watch movies, and then put the most obscure things on the test. My nearly-15-year-old sister has him this year, and she had to take a test of his. He announced to the whole class that he made it so that they would, in essence, fail. I believe that is not the role of a teacher. A teacher ought to guide the students, helping them to get better. Not laugh at them drowning in the sea of busy-work and then throw them a bag of rocks with their sinking in mind.

        @devastate-lasting
        , now I’m curious– who are you?

          @leon-fleming The other person was this girl from another writing community that I’m pretty good friends with; thought she was a college student until she mentioned the PSATs.

          That new photo looks drastically different, heavens. You really do look like a fifteen year old now. Nice jawline.

          I’m afraid that in terms of actual age, I am in the “very strange” category that you just listed, but my birthday’s coming up soon.

          I know, right? Spend some time chatting with me and you’ll realize that I don’t type like a guy.

          @e-k-seaver
          Who am I? Now that’s a broad question. In what aspect would you like to know me? Or is it simply because we haven’t chatted before? List some specific questions, and I shall answer them.

            @devastate-lasting simply that we haven’t talked before.
            Hm. What’s your story?

              @leon-fleming (Nice picture by the way…I agree with your sister…) @devastate-lasting @e-k-seaver

              I need to quit going to sleep. Y’all have the most interesting conversations while I’m sleeping…

              I’m sorry, y’all, but I seriously cracked up on the “kinder” joke. Like, the most hilarious thing I’ve heard in a while. (Except for that one instance that I won’t mention because it’s a very long story…)

              It’s scientifically proven, actually, that people who are/have been homeschooled are blessedly much more mature than those who have/are not. (Of course, this does not apply to all inhabitants of the earth, particularly middle-aged and senior citizens and Europeans.) And East Coast kids are just as immature–er, normal as West Coast kids–assuming Mr. Creepy Mystery Writer is not the typical West Coast teen.

              What horrid school experiences you all have had! I have fortunately only experienced 14 weeks of kindergarten, so…uh, my war stories include constricting Halloween costumes, the inability to get to the bathroom, and disgusting cafeteria lunches. (@leon-fleming Did you really color and cut paper? Wow. Just…wow.)

                @gracie-j well I’m glad someone got my joke.

                Oof, yeah. Except for those really weird unsocialized ones who cannot hold a proper conversation.

                So actually most of my teachers have been amazing. Particularly my English teachers. They’ve inspired me and encouraged my creative writing in so many ways. It’s just this one teacher who has been terrible.

                  @e-k-seaver Girl, that was a classic! Beautiful!

                  Who told you? I…I’m not “unsocialized.” I just don’t like people. 😆 (Nah, I’m not really that antisocial. I think.)

                  English teachers are awesome. (But, then, the only English teacher I ever had, aside from Google and books, is my college English teacher from last year. She was still awesome.) It’s art teachers I’m not so sure of.

                    @gracie-j Thank you. *Bows*

                    😂 There’s a difference between being unsocialized and antisocial. I would be the latter.

                    They really are. And I haven’t minded the art teachers I’ve had either.

                      @e-k-seaver Yes, I think it came out rather nice; especially in spite of my terrible computer camera.

                      I don’t know, though; I remember an occasion in real life where a man actually thought I was in collage, so…and that was a long time ago. Heh-heh. Maybe it’s the fact that I’m over six feet tall with a mustache.

                      haha. Nice joke. Hey! I’m part German. Yep; bad teacher experiences are terrible. Anyways, that was the last time I took classes.

                      Ah, that’s a great question for the scientific minds: Linyang Zhang is a very mysterious person.

                      @gracie-j Yeah. She would agree, too.

                      Oh: you forgot the young children in Outer China. It doesn’t apply to them, either.

                      I’d sure hope not to be. People here are very strange. Hey, that’s not bad. Mr Creepy Mystery Writer. Weird, but not bad.

                      —-

                      Yeah. Except for my very former English teacher. My ET before that, though, was great. We probably worked on more English in my eighth grade year than my ninth grade year. Not to mention I had to sit next to this creepy girl the whole time. (barf) That was a nightmare. XD

                      No, Gracie J, you’re not unsocialized. You just don’t like talking to people, that’s all. It’s really not that big of a problem when you’re holding conversations. People just have to put up with your continued silence and dark frown. (XD) No, I’m not laughing right now.

                      Have I ever mentioned how many book/character ideas I get off this Forum every time I step in?

                        I’ll probably end up scaring kids away with that creepy profile picture. They’ll think I’m some dark, maniacal, insane person out to conquer the world.

                          @leon-fleming It really did. Now I really want to try. I’m a sucker for dramatic lighting. (If you haven’t guessed by now, I do photography on the side. XD)

                          Mustache. Hm.

                          *winks* Of course, Fleming.

                          How interesting.

                          I’m curious what character idea you got this time. (And you confirm that you’re high Ne every time you say–anything, really. XD)

                          Also– you don’t seem to be one to scare people away. And if you don’t want that job, I’m plenty happy to take it off your hands. It seems every other day that someone accuses me of being a sociopath.

                                @e-k-seaver Hmmm….my life is kinda bland. I wake up, study, sleep, repeat. Dabble in music, post web fiction, make piano covers sometimes, though currently I’m too swamped to do any of those things. I became a Christian at a young age, and I’ve been homeschooled for most of my school life. I spend too much time on the Internet and not enough outdoors. So…yeah. Study, study, study, sleep. Nothing much.

                                What about you?
